Favourite lazy arse dinners

As per title. Tonight I have a plate of pasta (fusilli) with butter melted through and cheddar cheese on top. Teaspoon of lazy garlic mixed through with the butter. When I’m being less disgusting I melt butter and a little garlic into the fusilli, add tuna or chicken and basil, and squeeze a lemon over. But the ultimate lazy dinner is literally a heap of pasta covered in cheese.

What are your ultimate lazy arse dinners?

In true MN style, had a cheese and pombear sandwich tonight!

When I first read that, I thought Pombear was some really posh French food, especially as this is Mumsnet. 😂

Super noodle sandwich.

We’re a supernoodle sandwich house too! Elite! Has to be chicken flavour though.

My other quick go to’s would be camembert with crusty tiger bread stick, ham and some redcurrant jelly or chicken kiev with a jacket potato and coleslaw.

A cheap sausage roll (think 8 pack for 99p type) put in the air fryer on reheat or 170 for 15 minutes

A chip butty made with chip shop chips, white bread and butter and a swirl of tomato ketchup. Washed down with a can of full sugar Coke.

@Spudthespanner I take your plate of cheesy pasta and I raise you the same dish but with a spoonful of marmite stirred in.👌👌(and some frozen peas if I'm feeling energetic)

I take your buttery, cheesy, marmite, pea pasta and raise you the same dish but with the addition of a spoonful of lao gan ma chilli oil 😃we're vegan and can confirm it's still amazing with margarine and vegan cheese/nutritional yeast/even no cheese at all.

Sainsburys do a chickpea curry slice in their to go section. Im annoyed they dont sell them frozen or chilled as they would make the perfect lazy dinner with some salad. Instead they can be a lazy lunch while out shopping
