Bridesmaid got engaged on my wedding day...

Girls I really need some advice..
I had to cancel my wedding 4 months ago due to my partner cheating with numerous women.
My wedding should have been Saturday just gone in Italy. Some of the wedding party decided to go ahead with the weekend anyway as it was all booked and paid for (flights, air bnbs etc) which I was fine with as they has paid a big expense to attend.
My best friend (and bridesmaid) was one of these guests and she contacted me via Facetime yesterday to tell me her boyfriend proposed on Saturday (which should have been my wedding day) on the beach in Italy 🙈
I was absolutely gobsmacked and replied saying I was pleased for her but I needed time to process the news and ended the call.
I am happy for her but I do feel it's totally insensitive and I'm in total shock. How do I move past this?

How Do I do a search of username , I’ve never done before ?

copy their user name, go up to the top of the page, where you have the little links for 'my feed' 'im on' the furthest right is 'advanced search' click on that.

on the page that opens there is a box, 3rd down, that you paste the user name in. hit search.

Yeah , I just searched there , WTAF , her Ex & the dog & posting for a friend !
So just all these made up stories !

i won't troll hunt, as you never know how mad peoples lives really are.. however, if true, they still have form for posting and never coming back.

I don’t really understand what you take issue with, is it that they got engaged on the day you’re not longer getting married, or that they TOLD you on that day?

I think YWBU to mind that they got engaged on that day, it was just a holiday by then, you can’t expect friends to observe and plan their life events around non-dates like that.

I think it was a bit insensitive to ring you and announce it on that day though. Friend should really have considered that you would likely be feeling quite sad. Maybe she just got swept up in the moment. Or perhaps she thought it would cheer you up to have some happy news out of a sad occasion for you, but either way she got that wrong.

Yeah , but the stories don’t add up , I’m guessing made up ..
