To think they should have kept serving me?

Went to collect 4 parcels from my local shop. I told her I had 4, she gave me 1 and said “thanks, bye” … I informed it again it was 4. It was taking ages and she claimed she couldn’t find it - but she’d already scanned my code and signed it in the book that it had been collected.

She said “yeah I can’t find it” and then the guy with her told me I would need to wait whilst they served the queue behind me.

Sorry I get there was a queue of 2 people but I was there first and was in the middle of being served and had already been patiently waiting. I don’t think I should have to wait even longer because they couldn’t find my parcel.

Clearly OP realised she was at fault and had got the other 3 parcels delivered somewhere else otherwise she would have said by now. Clearly faffing holding everyone up

I think you have a different definition of clearly than everyone else and every dictionatary ever written....

Maybe write a book or something if you're so committed to inventing things with no basis in truth whatsoever....

You’d be great on Jackanory.

I feel your pain. I have stopped buying anything that gets sent via Yodel because I can't stomach going into the local petrol station to collect the parcel.

Last time I went in there he had such a go at me for not collecting the parcel straight away, when I still had a few days to collect it before it got sent back. I ended up explaining I'd worked until midnight the night before, and am juggling work and a toddler so I can't always collect as soon as the parcel arrives. I asked him why they offer such a service when he clearly can't stand it. It's just so unnecessary.

It wasnt her holding people up, it was the staff member not looking for the other parcels- and reven more so the second member of staff who could've served the other customers

The staff member DID look, they only had the one.

What about " the guy with her" ?

The paperwork they gave the OP said she had received all 4.
Therefore all 4 should be there.

Ive got to page 7 and not sure whether to feel proud of myself or gutted I've just lost 10 mins of my life I'll never see again.

The whole thing is a mountain out of a molehill.

Last time I kicked up a fuss about a shop not being able to find a parcel, I realised when they'd disappeared to look for it for the third time that I was in the wrong branch of Argos🙄😂

This is what OP has done but she won’t admit it
