To mark Lilibet's 4th birthday, they've uploaded this video. I think it's cute and fun but the usual haters are out in force.

She clearly has a monitor on under her dress but people are claiming it's a pillow, and people are also claiming it's not possible to dance like that while heavily pregnant (it totally is, if you're in good shape)

Also the horrible comments from men saying she must have got a lot of practice in, giving lap dances on yachts

Don't really know what people's problem is with these two tbh.

I thought it was funny. Don't really understand why people are getting so worked up.

Topplantpot · 05/06/2025 12:17

My thoughts - funny, who cares...and what a bunch of sad fuckers who's lives revolve around loving or hating this couple.

Ukisgaslit · 05/06/2025 12:17

I admit I haven’t had time to read the full thread but I saw the usual ‘we want privacy ‘ confusion in some posts .
For the umpteenth time - privacy is not the same as control .
They wanted CONTROL back . To stop them being used as cannon fodder to protect lazy Wills and his lazier wife or to be used to enhance Camilla’s image .
Contol means they can release what they themselves decide to release . Do you see the difference ?
Posters crowing about privacy are just regurgitating tabloid propaganda.

I thought the video was joyful and dorky .

I was v relaxed during my second labour ( I was a ball of anxiety during my first ) . I went with instinct and needed up doing similar moves lol ( no TikTok then ) and had an almost pain free first stage . Midwives encouraged this and said keep moving - it’s instinct and it will help you .

I cannot see the problem with this video, it’s a famous person doing famous things.

That’s the route they are going down and this is content. Big deal.

I don’t agree with their airing of the Royal Family gripes but I can see nothing wrong with this.

Laserwho · 05/06/2025 12:19

She bleats in about the dangers online for children, then does the complete opposite. Post pics of kids, then posts this video which will be watched at some point by their childrens curious classmates. It will lead to bullying. How can she do this to her children?

Flomingho · 05/06/2025 12:19

I am not a fan of these two but equally I think it is awful how lots of people are very hostile towards them. Afterall, nobody really knows what has gone on behind the scenes with the Royal Family. However, what I do find odd is the constant courting with the media when they wanted to live in America for a peaceful life with their children.

Janiie · 05/06/2025 12:20

It should be a lovely funny clip for the pair of them to enjoy in private. It should not be for the whole world.

For some reason they've shared it and it is absolutely cringeworthy.

I know they don't do class and privacy but fgs someone closs to them please advise them Confused.

Shetlands · 05/06/2025 12:21

comeandhaveteawithme · 05/06/2025 11:25

Absolutely. It's weird, and makes me worry for the future of humanity, the way people just make up their minds on someone based on what the media tells them.

People don't need the media to tell them what to think when this couple have been so very vocal and public about letting us know who they are. I thought the UK press were appalling in their treatment of Meghan (and all royal women at times) but right from the start she showed us who she was. She has subsequently doubled down on letting us know in her own words and actions that she's obsessed with being a celebrity whose priority is building her brand image.

She wants the HRH and Duchess titles but not in order to be a working member of the Royal Family. Her husband clearly has significant unresolved mental health issues and his betrayal of his own family has been despicable. I know all of this because of their own words and actions. I don't need the media to tell me anything at all!

sunflowersblooming · 05/06/2025 12:22

I have no idea why they would share it and that’s what makes me cringe a bit. But the actual dance, they’re just having a bit of fun. I don’t get all the conspiracy theories!

I get that, but they really need better PR. They had a good public image when they were working royals and once they took that control back they fucked it all up.

I think the hatred of them is out of all proportion (and I was surprised at how unpopular she is in America) but they really aren't media savvy.

Fitasafiddle1 · 05/06/2025 12:22

I half expected a poop to slip out as she squatted. Grim. So grim.

HRH indeed!!!

I am sure it’s created a few laughs in the royal household!!

Fetaface · 05/06/2025 12:22

I think people make their own videos for home all the time and likely many on here will have daft videos taken during certain times in their life. No harm done. Not a big issue or a problem.

I don't understand the vitriol for them. Yeah, they're a little bit annoying sometimes and I do have empathy for Harry but it would be nice if he read the room a little. Elderly and disabled people in the UK are choosing between eating and heating their homes and he came from so much privilege yet seems to expect endless sympathy for not being the chosen one when he's still had a very comfortable life. I don't want to be crabs in a bucket and I know that even if they tried to live a quiet, normal life that due to their statuses they still wouldn't be left alone. This is turning into a slightly incoherent ramble but I just wish everyone had a little bit more empathy, grace and understanding for eachother.

(There is also definitely a racial element to some of the dislike for Meghan from a loud minority of the British public which is obviously horrible.)

Usk · 05/06/2025 12:24

Seems odd thing to put out there on 4 year old brithday - but pretty harmless.

It kind of makes sense if it's to counter moom bump stuff - though that gained a hold now in some mad people's minds and there are odd things with bump in first pg with videos out there - though suspect easiest answer is she maybe occaionally wore padding because bump was lobsided that day or bump not classic big one and she worried about being accused of lying about pg or something - or it's camera angles/doctoring. The idea kids aren't her's are just bloody odd and really they're so low down in succesion and will only get lower with time it really doesn't matter.

However this play straight into the narcissistic claims - that she can't bare anyone else to have any attention - so odd pr choice.

Maybe it plays better in USA - where it's cute or fun - whereas here it's much more cringe.

Alarae · 05/06/2025 12:25

It’s a silly dance video. Personally I find it cringy, but that’s the content of it, doesn’t matter who the people are in it!

it’s a whole load of fuss over nothing. It’s just like people posting over the top gender reveals. Cool if that’s your thing, just not for me, but yay for you.

TENSsion · 05/06/2025 12:26

I don’t think they’re horrible people but it blows my mind how many people will have ok’d this before it was posted.

They have the worst PR people. Meghan and Harry live on a different planet. They’re not ordinary people and can’t understand or judge how ordinary people will respond to their posts/ statements/ interviews. They pay people to do that for them. And those people get it wrong EVERY time.

SpidersAreShitheads · 05/06/2025 12:27

I mean, it’s not the worst thing she’s done 😂🤷‍♀️

As a personal memory, I completely get it.

But to release footage of an intimate setting so publicly, it’s a no from me.

But I feel the same way about a lot of other things that (largely American) celebrities do, so I think there are cultural issues at play.

With ref to their privacy, I understand the issue was them being able to control the narrative rather than being out of the limelight completely. But Harry has always shunned the media and publicity as much as possible and yet it feels as if their current life is gradually being publicised and monetised, bit by bit. I suspect Meghan has never been on board with Harry’s views and their need to earn an income means that there’s a reason to keep sharing very personal images. For a very long time Archie and Lilibet were kept away from the public eye but there’s been a constant drip drip drip of images and video footage recently, to coincide with Meghan launching her brand.

So all of that does feel as if they’re monetising their children (because every snippet of them generates clicks and interest) and selling out their privacy by publicising moments like this which should be special and private.

Predictably, any criticism, no matter how balanced, brings accusations of being a “ hater “ or even better, being racist.

KawasakiBabe · 05/06/2025 12:27

I thought it was cute, not really bothered who they are, they could be a random couple, like all the other reels you see. I watched a few seconds and then scrolled past, like I do with all the others.

Moonlightexpress · 05/06/2025 12:29

AllAroundMyGarden · 05/06/2025 11:21

I thought it was funny, just a bit of fun.

I think people are unhinged, when it comes to their hatred of Meghan and Harry

Exactly. Criminals don't get this much attention and hate. No doubt they have their moments but so does everyone. The media ( a certain paper especially) really does brainwash the public with headlines and made up sources or made up controversies as if it's real. Lots of thick as shit ppl ready to believe it. Yes I realise she does seem to have her moments but maybe some could remember she's a person like the rest of us and no one should really have that much normalised hate directed at them.

Garibald · 05/06/2025 12:30

I think it's was a cute, fun moment for them. Slightly cringy to me because I find any and all sharing of private moments on social media to be cringy (not just by them - by anyone), but harmless. I knew as soon as I saw it it would lead to frothing hatred from her weird, stalky anti-fan base, and that's a shame.

menopausalfart · 05/06/2025 12:30

I can't stand the thought of the royal family. The hate directed at this pair though, is bizarre.

Ukisgaslit · 05/06/2025 12:30

I want the Windsors to stop their billion pound rip off of the British people .
Harry has gone . He’s is not charging the nhs, charities , or the armed forces to access ‘their’ land . Whatever his court cases cost it was a drop in the ocean compared to the annual half a billion the rest of the Windsors cost us .
Andrew had Epstein sit on the throne . The queen paid millions to Andrew’s accuser . Charles protected a pedophile bishop !
That’s where disgrace lies - not a labouring woman and her husband dancing around ffs

Guinessandafire · 05/06/2025 12:30

Leave them alone for Gods sake!
