To ask what you think of Meghan and Harry's "bump dance" video?

To mark Lilibet's 4th birthday, they've uploaded this video. I think it's cute and fun but the usual haters are out in force.

She clearly has a monitor on under her dress but people are claiming it's a pillow, and people are also claiming it's not possible to dance like that while heavily pregnant (it totally is, if you're in good shape)

Also the horrible comments from men saying she must have got a lot of practice in, giving lap dances on yachts

Don't really know what people's problem is with these two tbh.

Thanks for the clarification dipsy 😀

no i mean more that as she may have thought that she was married in the private ceremony and the public one was for show as such, I am sure she is well aware she was wrong now 😀

friends of mine had a private wedding and then got ‘married’ in front of family and friends a few weeks later….no one realised that the official ceremony had already taken place. Neither ceremony was religious

and thats british adult guests who have attended british weddings and did not spot the difference

but i am not particularly invested in being right or wrong on this…i can see that it might not have been a lie…just confusion over British (and royal) weddings

Yes I agree. I had the priest read the full text of the wedding ceremony out at my rehearsal the day before the actual wedding. My then fiancé and I went through the liturgy of “do you take this person etc etc” and we practised all of the responses. Afterwards, he then joked that “technically” we were married! And that quiet relaxed moment with my close family was when I felt the most emotion because I was too stressed during the actual ceremony to feel much!

It was quite specific what she said and I’m sorry to say it was a lie

Another lie was her denial that she had anything to do with the book ‘Finding Freedom’.

In her case against the Mail Newspaper, a High Court Judge ruled that she did indeed have a hand in the making of this book.

I agree as it is pretty obvious they both had a hand in Finding Freedom

Actually her title is The Princess Of Wales.

Thanks. Whilst that is her formal title, I think most people would know to whom I was referring when saying Princess Catherine

Still not princess Catherine

DiamondThrone · 09/06/2025 17:04

Plenty of people still call her Kate Middleton 😆 Just like Princess Diana was Lady Di forever to some people. It doesn't really matter.

What's weird is Meghan calling herself Meghan Sussex. That's not her name!

It's Rachel Mountbatten Windsor isn't it? Until Harry changes their surname to Spencer! Then I guess she's Rachel Spencer or did megs legally change her name to Meghan?

Honestly, I'd be quite confused if I was Meghan! She has changed her identity (in more ways than one!) so much, I'm surprised if she knows if she's coming or going!!

I think whoever it was, it's weird setting up the video to film it and then putting it on SM years later. It's not like she was dancing and he just grabbed the camera to catch it. That's what's cringey. Not who's doing it.

It's called throwback video I can't stand it myself when I see it on anyone's social media page. I think to myself who cares. There is something that draws me in to this video because of how difficult my last pregnancy was. I get the sentiment.

Was funny , all for people having fun . Although they did say they wanted privacy .

RufustheFactuaIReindeer · 13/06/2025 09:31

Kate, everyone seems to like kate

puts out photos and videos of family

but got a smidge pissed off when a newspaper got topless photos of her

For a lot of people in the public eye, privacy doesn’t mean being a hermit, it means not having paps crowd you and your children yelling vile stuff to get a good photo, it means being able to eat a bacon butty without it being in all the newspapers, it means not having topless pictures of you in the newspapers when you are in the privacy (that word again) of your own back garden, it means not having your cellulite on display when you are on a private yacht in the middle of the ocean and you thought you might be safe not putting a sarong on

‘a state in which one is not observed or disturbed by other people’ its fine to want privacy on your terms….

But they looked stupid, it wasn't funny at all. Why on earth would they want to share that publicly? Fine for the family folder but they just looked like a pair of prats. Shining a light on their lack of self awareness yet again.

would you like to have a picture taken of you taken whilst topless without your consent because most people wouldn’t. She also didn’t release the pictures herself

But the Markles had privacy. The photos of Kate were from paps in France, the days of paps chasing royals down the street had long since ended.

What they didn't have was the permission to do as they pleased and it was that that caused the flounce, but he varied his recollections and decided it was because of intrusion and invasion of privacy. He demonstrated his loathing of invading privacy by telling tales in his grubby book, about 'crooked spined not hot matrons' and his df shoving him in the dogs bowl.

Honestly Janiie I don’t really know enough about what Harry and Meghan have done/are doing to debate the topic, I do understand what you are saying

i just feel that its ok to post stupid videos of yourself and still want to have a private life 🤷🏻
