Sorry, thread derail but your calculation is a bit off! I am not yet middle aged (I don’t think anyway; I’m under 40 so getting there but still…) and I was 15 and too old for the first one when it came out.

I think this thread could have gone either way. I don't think you're being a man hater. Some posters have obviously not been on threads that I've been on where I've been slated for saying not all men are potential murderers.

I may be 'odd' to you but people do watch movies alone and even us adults love a good animation, if I didn't have kids, I would still watch them, yes probably from home but no need to judge on this occasion without other worrying signs.

If you think that is weird, then how about this... Many, many years ago, work colleague and I went to see re-make of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. We were only two people (ladies) at the start of the film (that's weird I know!) and then a guy in hoodie came in a short while later and sat DIRECTLY behind us! We stayed to the end, but he left half way through..
