To still send this video?

I took a video whilst on holiday for my mum and my grandma. It is something they both have a huge interest in but will never get to see in person. Unfortunately half way through the video DH does a huge fart which is very clear and obvious. No reference is made to it and the video continues as normal.
WIBU to still send the video to them? They know it exists and are wondering why I’ve not sent it yet.

I did reply similar to this, I just put that I wasn’t sure what the other noise was and then started on about the wolves again. She replied saying “your dad thought it was you trumping haha” 🤦‍♀️😂 still awaiting grandma

It’s obviously hilarious to the OP …. But her dh did ask her not to send it and she could easily have edited it, it’s not rocket science.

I can’t help thinking if the roles were reversed and a bloke sent a video his wife felt uncomfortable about he’d be slated. Mumsnet eh!

The tv was on very low, I’d gone out to the very small balcony (no seating or anything, literally just enough room to open the door and take one step forward). I unexpectedly heard the wildlife so I got my phone out quickly and started recording. I’d been trying to get this sound all week and we were on our last night.

I’ve just sent them the video, it will be a laugh if nothing else.

So after your DH asked you not to send it, you still sent it.

He’ll be fine 🙄 he’s not that uptight that he’ll lose sleep over it ffs. The general consensus seems to be that it was me farting anyway and I’ve not denied or confirmed either way.

I asked as I wondered if it would be bad form to subject my mum and grandma to it. A number of replies said it wasn’t so I went with that. A number of replies told me to edit it out - I don’t know how to do that so decided against it. A very small number of replies were concerned with DH’s feelings - I know him and I know deep down he doesn’t really give a shit as long as I don’t broadcast it all over in the sense of “look what DH did!”

He might have been pissed off if id put it on Facebook for example

My favourite part of this thread was the update that the recorded sound was so quiet the mum and grandma would both have their ears pressed against the phone ready for DH’s delivery 😂
