To still send this video?

I took a video whilst on holiday for my mum and my grandma. It is something they both have a huge interest in but will never get to see in person. Unfortunately half way through the video DH does a huge fart which is very clear and obvious. No reference is made to it and the video continues as normal.
WIBU to still send the video to them? They know it exists and are wondering why I’ve not sent it yet.

You can edit it to mute or cut the few seconds out of the video. You should be able to do it on your phone if you play around with the videos edit options or search how to edit videos with your specific phone on YouTube.

It was wildlife sounds

If it was quiet wildlife sounds of something your mum and grandma would really love but won’t get to see, it sounds very odd to leave the tv on in the background. Too late now but it would have been so simple to just ask dh to mute the tv while you video’d. Then presumably he’d have held his fart in.

as it is though it’s a simple job to edit the clip to leave out the fart and just have quiet gently wildlife sounds (and commentary on the selection of the Holy Father)

Cut the video into two halves and don’t include the part with the fart.

Figure out how to edit the sound out or don’t send it and let it be a funny thing just between you and DH.

Your DH didn’t know you were filming and has asked you not to share the video. You wouldn’t appreciate him sending his family members a video of your belching or farting in assumed privacy after you told him it would embarrass you, right? How your grandmother would react is irrelevant.

Edit it into 3 parts. Before, fart, after.

Send them the before and after and us the fart 😂

Oh this thread has made my morning. I don't know what's the funniest part - the fart on the wildlife video, the sanctimonious comments on how pearl clutchingly awful DH must be, or the scene of grandma watching the video. Truly Fartgate!

But this was a public place? Or you were in the hotel room or whatever? Very confusing. Why didn't you just take another video?

I'd throw it in canva and cut the fart but out and then resave. I used to use Sony Vegas software but for most things canva is just so much quicker.
You may just be able to edit the sound.
