Why is Alice Evans Gruffudd homeless?

Doesn’t she have any famous friends? Where has all her money gone? Does she have to live in L.A? It just all seems bizarre, just move somewhere cheaper.

I had never heard of Alice or her Ex before this whole saga unfolded and I saw her interview on Loraine. I was completely hooked and invested after that and at first felt really sorry for her.

But after reading all of the court evidence I was so shocked. She’s an awful woman and the fact she’s got away with her behaviour for so long is disgusting.

If the genders were reversed and a man was stalking and harassing his ex the way Alice is to Ioan, they would be publicly shamed in the media and in jail.

She has some crazy supporters who refuse to look at the actual facts in the court papers including her financial statements which prove she lies about her money including so much more.

This is part of what’s a real shame. She’s quite a witty woman and probably could have got some work off the back of the divorce! She should have thanked her lucky stars he didn’t expose her behaviours and just wanted it done and dusted, picked herself up and been a bit of a ‘reinventing yourself in your 50s after divorce -fluencer’. She had enough followers.

But she chose to go scorched Earth, which resulted in him having to file for a DVRO, which exposed her malicious, nasty side. And continues to breach it. She destroyed her own opportunities for what? To abuse her ex? He seems to have fully moved on and it hasn’t worked, and she’s still exactly where she was in 2021, apart from with older daughters who will eventually become aware of mother’s shortcomings and influence on their life trajectory.

My guess from some of her behaviour is that she spends a good bit of money on substances of various sorts.

She refuses to work. Deliberately alienated the children from their father, then claims she can't work as she's a single parent. She's done such a number on her girls they can't even safely be alone with their dad anymore, despite him being clearly a loving, caring father until the divorce, when Alice decided to alienate and destroy him. When they've seen him he's needed a chaperone, and they've destroyed his home. No doubt on mother's orders.

She's utterly vile and a sad example of a parent that hates their ex more than they love the shared children.

I wouldn't worry about her being homeless though, she's crowed about this repeatedly for years now and it's never happened. She is simply trying to publicly shame him and insinuate he hasn't provided financially, which he has (as evidenced by the courts: he has OVERPAID what he needed to).

The drama cycle will never end with Alice. My heart breaks for the kids. What should have been a run of the mill divorce which most kids cope fine with has turned into her wrenching their father from them, isolating them, and emotionally abusing them. I honestly fear for their futures.

PS: Alice keeps a very close eye on websites, including Mumsnet, so her flying monkeys will appear here soon enough if they haven't already.

The evidence isn't difficult to find, in court documents, for anyone who is interested.

so she hasn't worked since 2015, and even before that was a 2 bit, c list "star" who basically just wants others to fund her lifestyle, instead of moving somewhere more sensible, and getting a job? i really hope the dad has custody of those kids too!!

She needs mental health treatment - she got dumped, it happens. She needs to get a job and stop harping on about it. Her behaviour isn’t remotely healthy and I can’t imagine why anyone would pay to a GoFundMe for a woman who gets $4500 a month and refuses to work

You don’t need to guess. It’s well documented. She’s even offered her teenage daughters cocaine on occasion.

This lady seems to have severe MH issues. People are so nasty at times - I'm no fan and don't watch any films - Whole thing is really sad, especially for her kids.

I think she has done a good on of parental alienation against her ex. I feel sorry for her children as she is obviously unwell

He doesn't have custody. The poor little sods live with her.

Furthermore, the relationship with the eldest appears to have deteriorated to the point that she can't be around him or his new wife without getting violent against them or their property.

So he was supposed to stay in an abusive marriage? He hasn't prioritised his new wife over his kids, their mother has turned them against him. I agree about poor children, for having an abusive mother who offers them cocaine.

They do sadly. She preys on women who have genuinely gone through bad divorces with exes, and they are too blinkered cause she’s a ‘celeb’ to realise that all of her stories don’t add up. So there are people like ‘I can only donate £5’ who literally are donating when they can’t afford it. They don’t have enough money for themselves but are donating to her ‘cause’.

Clearly you haven’t seen the other thread about the Muslim woman at the carboot sale which appears to have been infiltrated by Stormfront.

She put out an appeal yesterday on Insta for a co-signer to sign a lease on a new property for her. Otherwise she will be homeless, for only the 33rd time this year.

Seeing as you feel so deeply for poor vilified Alice, maybe you could assist?

I’ve followed this for the last couple years, in Initially going off AE’s IG posts I believed her version of events as I couldn’t believe someone even somewhat famous would lie about being abused/cheated on etc, until I caught a slurring-sniffing late night post from her and realised she is on all sorts and is a raging narcissist! I was mad at myself for being taken in by her.

Delving deeper it’s clear she is one of the most self absorbed people I’ve ever came across, can’t seem to accept she isn’t an A-lister.

Such a shame as if she’d had a better PR and handled it all with grace she truly could have been bigger than she’d ever have previously, tv hosting/book deals etc.

Alice and the kids lived in the marital house for two years after the split whilst he was paying the mortgage and bills and then it was sold as he couldn’t afford to pay for that house and one for himself.

The money was split and held to pay for legal costs and therapy for the kids etc. Alice refused every financial offer Ioan gave her. She isn’t interested in the money now she’s just focused on destroying him but has only destroyed herself.

This is the narrative she wants people to believe.

Take a read of all of the court documents. He has a domestic violence restraining order against him and the evidence can’t be argued against.

I was a bit "poor Alice, I pity her" until I read some of the details.

She's deranged. Completely deranged. "Personality disorder" would be putting it kindly.

This is exactly the response of someone who hasn’t read the court documents and doesn’t know the actual facts.

Alice preys on women who have been hurt by men so they support her blindly and don’t question her actions.

Alice is the abuser in this situation. Yes women can be the abuser.

Just because many many women have been wronged by men doesn’t mean that’s always the narrative.

Her Insta made me very uncomfortable even when she and IG were married. She'd film him when he didn't want to be filmed (in his pants or swimming shorts) and would post the videos even though he asked her not to. Had it been a man posting bikini photos of his wife that she could be heard asking him not to share, I think people would have recognised it then as a red flag.

Alice was physically abusive towards him, was using drugs and alcohol heavily (there is evidence of all of this in the court documents including videos, photos, texts from the kids to their dad)

Therapy for the kids was court ordered and Alice would either refuse to take them or storm into sessions and argue with the therapist. (Again all shown in the court files)

His kids are sadly now alienated from him.

Alice gets 4.5k support a month yet has ended up in this situation.

The legal papers show that she had over 85k sat in her current account on the day she set up a go fund me begging for money because she was poor. (Financial statements in the court documents prove this)

They are worlds apart. Tattle is gloves off and utterly vile. It's relentless mocking and name calling of women. It's a real eye opener about how nasty and spiteful people can really be. Mumsnet has its moments of course but overall, it's much more balanced and restrained.

How dare she scrounge money from gullible hons on insta, she should be utterly ashamed of herself. So her marriage broke down, so what? It happens all the time. Except that’s not what’s happened. The information on how she’s behaved is in the public domain as it was documented through the courts. If a man behaved the way she has, you’d be recognising it as domestic abuse, but because he’s a man it’s purely that he’s dumped her for a younger model?

He was paying them $10,000 a month. That is also documented in the legal paperwork.
