Why is Alice Evans Gruffudd homeless?

Doesn’t she have any famous friends? Where has all her money gone? Does she have to live in L.A? It just all seems bizarre, just move somewhere cheaper.

“Homeless” = “needs to find a new place to rent”.

She is such an arch-manipulator. It is astonishing to me how people are falling for it.

One of the saddest transcripts I saw was Alice's daughter pleading with her to stop making everything about daddy, to stop being nasty about daddy, to stop talking about him constantly, and Alice responding 'if you don't take my side you can fck off. I've had enough of you. You can go off to the nanny's for the week'.

She is one of the most malignant, dangerous women I've ever encountered.

Those poor children.

WatchAnXFilesWithNoLightsOn · 16/05/2025 13:56

@Willyoujustbequiet Ok, and I can agree with your overarching point for sure

Its just replying to a poster who is commenting on people piling onto Alice with comments about it being emotive, misogyny is entrenched … along with you replying to posters referencing her parental alienation of the children with comments that parental alienation isn’t real… and responding to my comments that he experienced abuse with stats that most abuse is experienced by women from men … builds a narrative that you are being dismissive of facts.

It is emotive as almost all of the threads started about her toe the line of the poor forgotten woman, left behind for a younger woman. And almost all of the evidence that supports his case is in the public domain so I am always in disbelief when posters still call her ‘troubled’ and point to him having an affair almost as a get out of jail free card for all of her behaviour. She gives all divorced women a bad name.

And that was on her daughter’s 12th birthday. And the argument had started because the 12 year old had dared to ask her mother not to her drunk in the daytime… on her 12th birthday.

Please don't misquote me.

I said it was found to be rare and said it was recognised as a tool of abusers. I've never used the phrase "not real".

I have no narrative on this thread other than to stick to facts. Indeed I've gone out of my way repeatedly to state I haven't speculated on this particular case.

I actually find your comment about being dismissive of facts rather ironic given that's exactly what some other posters have been intent on being.

Uricon2 · 16/05/2025 14:16

I think if people are mothers who try to prioritise the the emotional wellbeing of their children and thankfully most are, it might be hard to accept that the sort of behaviour exhibited by AE happens. Unfortunately it does and my mother said and did things so similar that I've gasped at times reading some of it in the transcripts. There is the difference that she wasn't off her head on whatever, I suppose.

I don't think anyone is disputing that most DA is carried out by men, or that allegations of parental alienation should be automatically accepted, especially when to do so would put a child at risk from an abusive parent. This however doesn't make AE's actions any better or less profoundly damaging to her daughters.

WatchAnXFilesWithNoLightsOn · 16/05/2025 14:26

@Willyoujustbequietyou are right and I had you confused with another poster-you commented that is was rare that it was genuine. Apologies I got you mixed up.

And you’re right, there is a lot of misinformation around this case

I've followed this saga on and off and I agree. Some people are selfish monsters before they have children and then are selfish monsters who happen to have given birth afterwards. The Stately Homes threads are full of them (and full of fathers who just let the mums get on with their behaviour for a quiet life).

This woman totally fumbled the bag when she left Picasso’s grandson for a Welsh actor. Her life could have been so different. No wonder she is bitter.

@DaisyChain505 “What was he meant to do, live alone in a cave until the girls decided to change their minds?”

🤣 While after reading the court documents, I have masses of sympathy for Ioan and wish he had gotten away sooner - plenty of parents with young children stay single after leaving their Ex, it’s this crazy idea called putting your children first (and as a single parent I would know).

Ioan knew how abusive their Mum was, would it have killed him to go without a relationship for a few years and worked on getting a place of his own where he could house his children? Parental alienation or not, he then would have stood a better chance of getting them out. Instead he quickly moved in with the other woman, is happily remarried and the girls are left with a Mother who seems really unstable. It’s so sad how no one has put the girls first in this saga 😢

She thought she’d hooked the next big star. Ironically, if he hadn’t met her, I suspect he’d have had a much more successful career.

I read that! That was her daughter’s 12th birthday. The same transcripts also showed the birthday girl saying to Alice “ you promised you wouldn’t drink today” to which Alice then called her “a tedious bitch”. On the child birthday! Just so very, very sad and dysfunctional.

Exactly this.
Alice is batshit (and I liked her to begin with, but she's unhinged) but Ioan is no prize either.

If his kids were so vulnerable why has he spent so much time and effort on Bianca instead of renting a small flat near the kids and actually trying to parent? Without his new girlfriend in tow, the kids may have been more accepting of him.

He's got no claim to the high ground.

JustforAlice · 16/05/2025 16:16

He did just that for nearly 2 years, I think he stopped when Evans flashed her coochie at him out on the street. He did not try to push his relationship on the girls, he had to have a bloody chaperone with him when seeing the girls due to the threats, the only time they met Bianca was essentially by accident.
He has SO many claims to the high ground with this.

InterIgnis · 16/05/2025 17:14

Willyoujustbequiet · 16/05/2025 12:53

It was concluded by the MoJ that only a court can make that specific determination.

As far as I know that hasn't happened as of yet in this case but I haven't read the transcript which is why I haven't commented on their particular circumstances.

Even a layperson can read the transcripts and form their own opinions. That she told her daughter she didn’t want to see her for a few days, and followed it up with “the babies can stand up for me or they can fuck off”, certainly supports the alienation charge. That is far from the only example of such behavior provided.

This case isn’t under the jurisdiction of California, not the UK. Prior to the case being sealed (and this is why there haven’t been public updates regarding it), the alienation was indeed recognized and action was being taken to tackle it.

He had to move into Bianca’s flat, which she paid for, because he was giving all his money to Alice and the girls and continuing to pay for their house.

Yeah, I am sure Bianca was his one and only option in all of S. California. Come on!

He could absolutely have paid for his own flat or a hotel instead of spending the money on Alice and the girls but would you find that better?

JustPlayItCoolBoyRealCool · 16/05/2025 17:36

I should imagine the girls no longer like or respect their father and no longer feel safe with him.

He doesn't apprear to be the deepest of characters.
Clueless and very selfish in my opinion.

He's become a spearhead for all those who advocate affairs and believe children can be discarded and pacified to play nicely with new step partners.

It's shit for the kids, it's shit for Alice but it's great for Ioan and Bianca, the only problem is getting Alice to STFU and get the girls to show Ioan in a great light infront of his new squeeze who incidentally has no experience of childrearing, it doesn't really fit with her programme.

This sort of pile on will make her more ill, she can't take it at the moment, Ioan's in a much stronger possition, why do people wish to make her worse, people have no empathy, all this crap is bravado from her, she will calm down eventually, it will be a long time though because he has thoroughly humiliated her on the world stage and that is something neither Alice or her daughters, I should imagine will ever forgive.

He's a fool.

When you are going through shit and have poor mental health- either party- it's always sensible to get off social media.
