Do I think IG is perfect? No. Do I think (based on a great deal of evidence) that AE is demonstrably batshit, consumed by the need for vengeance and seriously harming her children emotionally? Yes.

How did he humiliate her? What did he do exactly, other than leave an unhappy marriage?

Sitting up all night and fighting with people on the internet has been something she has done for years. She’s made up lies about complete strangers who have commented on her SM posts and had her followers harass and threaten them. She also created sock accounts to do this herself. Even if she was ill, it doesn’t give her a free pass to abuse, harass and torment other people.

People would absolutely sympathise with her for feeling devastated, but outright lying about him, trying to ruin his career and encouraging the internet to join in is not ok and I’m surprised it’s taken people this long to actually start saying so.

Ioan spent hundreds of thousands to try and keep a relationship with the children and she was interfering in it to punish him way before Bianca was on the scene. He did the right thing and got the court to order therapy for the girls and him (individually and together). Alice did everything in her power to ruin it, refusing to take the girls to their scheduled sessions and bursting into the room for the ones they did actually get to attend shouting and screaming. She threw herself on the floor on front of the kids and therapist and pretended to have a heart attack. When no-one paid her any attention, she called herself an ambulance!!!

She launched her gofraudme initially pleading for money to cover legal fees because “Ioan was abusing her in court and she couldn’t defend herself” She also claimed to have $26 to her name. It was proven that she actually had $80,000 in her accounts whilst she was collecting money off of people who had less in the bank than her. Also, Ioan has and continues to pay all her legal fees so she was fully represented in all hearings.

She’s not unwell and she will not eventually calm down - She is the big bowser of Karens and is having a tantrum that has been going on for over four years because her husband had enough and left HER, not the kids, HER!

She also had an affair by the way, and tried to instigate a second one (whilst she was filing TVD), but funnily enough doesn’t like to mention that when screaming about Ioan having one (which I don’t believe he actually did).

All it needed was one statement form a publicist. Actor separated from his wife and they’ll be co parenting going forwards. Probably wouldn’t have even made press as not high profile.
Instead the dramatic posts and ranting on instagram is what has attracted attention.

I really think she is doing an excellent job of humiliating herself without any help from him. If it weren’t for the girls, I’d say she could safely be left alone to get on with that. As it is, someone does need to intervene for their sake.

The girls will be old enough soon if not already to internet search their mother. They will read the court papers online, they will read Tattle, they may even read Mumsnet.

They might be too entrenched and brainwashed currently to process it all but I suspect at some point the penny will drop and they will be very angry. I’d wager it will be their mother they won’t forgive.

I wonder how as an Australian citizen with her immigration status within the US unknown and hardly having a stellar acting career, one would have to wonder how is she affording to support him?

To be fair, she's said that Harvey Weinstein torpedoed her career after she refused his advances (throwing in a snide "I hope it works out for your boyfriend" after she mentioned that her then-boyfriend Gruffudd was auditioning for one of his other films). Which seems entirely possible, based on what we know of Weinstein.

But I think basically she's just very angry that he left her for another woman, and all the other stuff is just about trying to punish him.

How many more years should she be allowed to abuse her children while everyone waits for her to "calm down eventually"?

How could it have been different it she'd stayed with Picasso's grandson?
