Luckily there's a 1970 legal case that established that sex is fixed at birth so if you're born male you remain male for the whole of your life. Legally and factually.

Some police forces were so keen to up their ‘hate crime’ numbers that they put out adverts with sad ‘transwomen’ being told to report a hate crime for ‘misgendering’.

Other trans organisations have encouraged reporting of stickers and I think even some ribbons tied to a fence were recorded in hate crime stats. That’s how badly those stats are undermined. They have no credibility at all.

Goodness the number of posters who have friends who look like men.

This is also something that people forget.

We already know that there are male people with transgender identities using male single sex provisions or finding alternative solutions. They respect the needs of female people.

The male people who enter female single sex spaces are not the ones who respect female people's need or their boundaries. Yet they are the ones that some people feel the need to centre.

If someone's friends who are male and transgender are so lovely, why are they not respecting female people's needs and boundaries?

I think Candice Owen is foul beyond words, but forgive my scepticism about your story.

Neither of my friends look like men. They're just tall. One tends not to wear make up, the other wears red lipstick and heavier makeup and has short hair.

Now what really matters is doing something to support the vulnerable young who've been led down this path and are wrecking their bodies and minds in pursuit of an unachievable sex change. No matter how badly they may be behaving in response to this, they are victims of this ideology and as the dust settles as responsible adults we need to be thinking how to support them and surround them with responsible adults, loving families and communities who can help them heal. No apologies for sounding "soft". They've been in the grip of the cynical users for too long.

Absolutely @MrsOvertonsWindow , so many of my daughters peers and their families are in this place at the moment, because the autistic community was particularly targeted. All I see from them, at the moment, is rage at women. They need to understand that that rage is misplaced.

How can anyone who doesn’t know who you are literally tear your head off?
The fact trans women exist is the reason we need to clarify where they should be allowed to go - I’ve never seen anyone say they don’t exist (saying trans women are men isn’t saying trans women don’t exist, by the way - it’s clarifying which sex group they are a subset of).

Errr how do you know exactly? Are you a trans woman? Or do you have lots of trans women friends who can give you first hand accounts? Where are you getting these facts from exactly?

1)Have actually looked at Supreme Court’s statement? It says that somebody has transitioned to such an extent that they are very masculine, they can be excluded from women’s spaces.
2) You know that prosthetic penises are not really penises, right? They need to be pumped up to work so the bulging ‘penis’ in cycling shorts is not a threat. Unlike a real penis bulging in a thong bikini or mesh knickers.
3) I would rather “look like a tit” than have men in women’s spaces.

No. My friend is not in the public eye at all, but once worked in a role for a charity that one twat took exception to and decided she was a man and it spiralled from there.

If you have evidence of these attacks on trans women in male toilets let’s see them.

I seriously wouldn't give out personal information about a friend, even in a DM, without their express permission.
