I'm as far from a TRA as you can get and don't want transwomen in women's toilets, locker rooms, sports, changing rooms, or any group or space that is supposed to be for women only. However, I do have a female friend who is over 6 feet tall and somewhat androgynous in body shape. She doesn't wear make-up, but she has long hair, and her clothing and jewellery all clearly point to "woman". She hasn't been challenged in a toilet or other place, so far as I know, but she has had a bitchy colleague openly ask her if she was transwoman and then pretend (?) to be shocked when informed that my friend is in fact female. This obviously hurt my friend, who is sensitive about her appearance.
So it does happen that some few women get things wrong (or are possibly willing to use this as a way to bully women who stand out). I just hope people will be careful and tactful to avoid emotionally harming actual women who have every right to be in women's spaces.
