To wonder who is buying chocolate cereal

Who om each is buying Lion bar and Oreo cereal? See also lucky charms, nesquick and coco pops
These aren't breakfast foods (or any sort of food). I literally cannot imagine anyone thinking it is a reasonable way of feeding children?

I used to love Coco pops and bought them until recently
They changed them though so I no longer do

Who do you think is buying it OP? What’s your thoughts?

I quite like chocolate cereal for dessert sometimes. (At dinner time, not breakfast). Pretty sure lots are eating them fairly regularly for breakfast.

I also buy this for myself…. The Reese’s one is good too. Straight from the box as a snack.

My kids get chocolate wheetos for a treat in the school holidays.

I imagine lots of people buy it maybe for kids or teenagers and the pp😀 but you know that you just fancied poking people.

My DH likes a bit of crunchy but for pudding. Evening pudding, not breakfast pudding.

I buy lion bar cereal and coco pops. For me. Since when was cereal just for children?

You must lead a sheltered life if you can't imagine anyone thinking they're a) breakfast foods and b) reasonable for children.

I stopped having these cereals by around age 16. Then, from about 30, for a few years we started buying a box to have on holiday. No idea where the idea came from to do that! We've since stopped. The thought now messages my teeth hurt.

I did when pregnant, one of the very few things I could keep down in the early weeks.

But come on, you absolutely can ‘imagine’ people buying them, you just want to stick the boot in.

I am! Most of the chocolate flavoured ones have no more sugar in them than the non-chocolate versions apart from maybe plain cornflakes or shredded wheat. If you are ok with cereal generally then these really aren’t any worse and are fortified with vitamins and minerals. They’ll also be healthier than pastries, waffles etc.

I have a fussy child who has coco pops and a banana and this gets them fed in the mornings without a battle so they go to school happy and able to concentrate.

Me. My children get special breakfast for their birthday and Christmas. Yes it is sometimes, shock, horror, chocolate cereal. Call social services now.

Kids have coco pops as a treat at weekend. I sometimes have crunchy nut as a dessert. Yum

Me, because they're bloody delicious. The chocolatey milk after is delightful.

I'm a great believer in everything in moderation.

We do. My teens and their dad all enjoy it. Maybe only a couple of times a week in the end but they’ll live!
Both kids active and healthy weights. Perfect teeth. Not that big a deal as part of a balanced diet. They both eat very well overall.

I buy Cocoa Shreddies/ variations of Cocoa Pops/Cocoa Hoops for my child’s breakfast (and not just for a treat/weekend) Soz 🤷‍♀️. I also eat them.

Costco sell it in packs of 4!

Earlier I bought me and the DC a Costco pizza (if you go, you’ll know the ones I mean). Report me to social care why not.

Haven't tried the others but coco pops are beloved by all 3 dc and me. So we add to those sales figures 🙌
