The word ‘hate’ is overused these days. People are accused of hate if they politely express disagreement to a speaker.
What we’re seeing here is genuine hate. These men hate women. They’ve shown us with their ‘Kill TERF’ banners, their disruption of women’s meetings, their violence and death threats, their forcing people out of jobs, their intimidation and abuse. Defacing the statue of a suffragette is an honest and open expression of their misogyny. Sad to see women accepting all this.
Is anyone genuinely surprised by this outpouring of rage? They’ve been gleefully trampling on women’s rights for years. Now the law has dared to stand up to them.
If anyone doubted this was a male supremacist movement (with enabling handmaids), today’s giant mantrum may open their eyes.
