But I don't want to intimidate someone until they agree with me. I don't want to carry posters that call for violence against the trans community. I just want them to acknowledge the ruling that you remain the sex you were born and that has legal implications. I don't actually want to behead a man in a dress

Well quite.

Do they think this is the way to win friends and influence people?

WorriedMutha · 19/04/2025 18:37

I'm filing this under let them speak. As someone said above, Just Stop Oil lost the ear of the public because of their antics. I just hope there are plenty of arrests and rigorously enforced charges.

SabrinaThwaite · 19/04/2025 18:41

I wonder if any of them have been arrested and are getting to test out the new search protocols?

Diverze · 19/04/2025 18:41

IthasYes · 19/04/2025 18:34

@Diverze definitely powerful, asking people to shit on heads, self labotomise through the eye with a knife and so on. 😕

Yes, a few idiots obviously attended. I think there are 6 or 7 unpleasant signs in the Lily Maynard thread.
An estimated 20k people in London today, show me around 20k signs advocating violence, or accept that the majority were peaceful protestors.

EasternStandard · 19/04/2025 18:43

TheKeatingFive · 19/04/2025 17:48

Gosh, why wouldn't we want these men in our spaces? I have literally no idea? 🫠🫠🫠

Good point

Waitwhat23 · 19/04/2025 18:45

A quote I've seen this week (can't remember the source) which is apt -

'To use an analogy that is perhaps inappropriate, but I can't think of another, this feels like having finally walked out on an abusive relationship, ie the most dangerous time. Men are furious and the misogyny in response to this ruling is white hot. Buckle up for the backlash.'

Getting their dicks out in public but still claiming to be women!

They can get their dicks out in a men’s prison now.

Trans people have allowed these violent activists hijack their cause and abuse women constantly and violently for the past 10 years. As a result, they have lost all the goodwill women afforded them. Why did they allow them to do that all these years, and yesterday? 20,000 people against just 7 idiots?

Waitwhat23 · 19/04/2025 18:51

I mean, an image of women having a glass of champagne in the sunshine to celebrate a win was apparently horrendously upsetting for those who opposed the ruling but apparently signs calling for women to be stabbed through the eye with a pencil - no bother!

countrysidedeficit · 19/04/2025 18:52

"biology is not binary"? Confused

Appledrop · 19/04/2025 18:52

This might be an unpopular opinion but the handmaidens on this platform, as well as on others and those with the tras, are complicit in this behavior. The tras take advantage of any leniency given to them. There is a real concern that at some point, all aspects of women's rights will be eradicated. If we open the door to transwomen (men), it won't just lead to potential abuse; it could also result in sex-based protections being stripped away from everyone in the future. I'm worried that men might argue against these protections at some point by claiming they already exist in women's spaces. They could use this argument against us, just as trans women and some women are doing now. Is of these people looking ahead?

Let's just flip that, shall we?

"Moderate muslims have allowed violent activists to hijack their cause and plan and carry out terrorist attacks frequently and violently for the past 10 years. As a result, they have lost all the goodwill ordinary white British people afforded them. Why did they allow them to do that all these years, and yesterday?"

It is not appropriate to blame moderate members of a group for the actions of extremists members of the group, nor to hold them responsible for those extremists.

mumda · 19/04/2025 18:54

Are they in denial still or at anger?

Footstamping stage, I think.

Do TRAs ever get past this stage?

GargoylesofBeelzebub · 19/04/2025 19:00

Just showing themselves up for the anti woman movement they are.

If they actually were women they wouldn't have done that.

countrysidedeficit · 19/04/2025 19:01

Listening to the hand down and following reactions since, I do think part of the problem is that in the 50 short years since the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 a lot of the collective understanding of why sex is a protected characteristic, and why the law seeks to protect women, has been lost or forgotten.

So many of the outraged responses reveal no understanding of that at all (even though it is explained in the judgment).

I reckon around half of the crowd were probably cunty type women. The gathering wasn't restricted to trans women.

DinoLil · 19/04/2025 19:02

Oh bless their kitten heels - can they walk in those whilst waving their penises around? Un-fucking-believable.

Maybe they’re just a fun guy?

FeministUnderTheCatriarchy · 19/04/2025 19:05

Let them show the world who they are, so the world will finally believe us.

I see all this as helping our cause. People are finally waking up to these violent, self serving misogynists and this will only nudge the stragglers along.

Let them dig their own holes.
My only concern in this is if there will be more violence against actual women as part of the "poor men" expressing their feelings about this ruling that actually changes NOTHING FOR THEM other than allowing companies the option not to let them in women's private spaces

Gettingbysomehow · 19/04/2025 19:05

LordBummenbachsMagnificentBalls · 19/04/2025 17:29

Using destruction and aggression to prove they are not a threat to women…

Yes great isn't it. Proving themselves to be men over and over again. We don't want criminals and vandals in our spaces thank you very much.

Screamingabdabz · 19/04/2025 19:11

Bottles of piss? Of all the protests that a biological woman would find the most difficult! The irony.

Theunamedcat · 19/04/2025 19:13

Will the prime minister call for justice like he has done in the past or will he hand wring about it
