Students who do well at school would never wish violence on their teachers, as they have the intelligence to know that violence never solves issues.

AllyCart · 08/03/2025 06:32

YABU

Is AIBU for posting on absolutely any subject now?

Because it's an interesting topic for a discussion forum....

CerealPosterHere · 08/03/2025 06:33

That’s really bad. When Dd was little and at primary school one of the teachers and one of the TAs had a row which ended up in one of them slapping the other in front of the kids. Surprisingly they both kept their jobs.

JamesWebbSpaceTelescope · 08/03/2025 06:34

All the students will be shocked by what has happened, these are people they know and in a position of trust. So it is perfectly natural for a parent to also have strong feelings and wan tot discuss them.

I hope the sentence is for a long time with the premeditation, and the fact that it was in front of students does make it more shocking. He could have waited until after school but chose not to, it feels deliberate.

The premeditation is really chilling.
Such a 'man' is not suitable to be a head teacher if he can't control his temper or emotions.

How will you posting this help anyone?

are you part of the love triangle

Bruh! 😎

CerealPosterHere · 08/03/2025 06:49

He’s lucky he didn’t kill him, he could easily have been facing a murder charge. Hitting someone over the head with a spanner could have resulted in the death of the victim.

VisitationRights · 08/03/2025 06:54

YANBU to be shocked by this and wanting to talk about it, it’s a horrible thing to happen, especially at school. I hope you children are coping well.

SickInBedOnTwoChairs · 08/03/2025 06:56

The world has gone mad.

This sort of ties in with another thread on here about Kyle Clifford and how he went nuclear when he couldn't cope with being dumped.

How can some people react to being spurned in this way?

At what point did this guy think trying to cave in his love rivals head with a spanner would bring him the outcome he desired and where is the filter that most normal people have that involves looking in a mirror, accepting you are a three at best and deciding to make a set of raised beds or creosoting the shed would be more appropriate, the old, 'Set her free, if she comes back then great. If she doesn't, it was never meant to be', style of thinking kicking in all over the place?

Cave men crossed with tantrumming toddlers.

Imagine being married to or being the children of this 'man'.

Westfacing · 08/03/2025 07:00

Shocking indeed - that a man could be so enraged that he launched a brutal physical attack with a spanner on a love-rival in front of pupils.

The kids must have been terrified.

Westfacing · 08/03/2025 07:02

There's nothing wrong with discussing male violence.

Did you pull a muscle with that reach?

CerealPosterHere · 08/03/2025 07:18

And he’s a married father of 3, bet his wife is delighted. Though the fact he’s going to prison I guess will make it easier for her to get the divorce sorted and cut ties.

How did the slapper (by which I mean person who slapped!) keep their job?!

Why would you advertise your psychopathy in this way? It's generally considered something to be ashamed of.

It certainly says more about her than the teachers.

IButtleSir · 08/03/2025 07:25

healthybychristmas · 07/03/2025 23:37

The female teacher is going to find it very difficult to keep her job isn't she??

How the fuck have you managed to blame a woman for a man's violence?!

Duggeewoof · 08/03/2025 07:26

Dangerous man, should be locked up for a good while

backtothemeadow · 08/03/2025 07:27

ilovesooty · 07/03/2025 23:20

The article also says that it's hoped that investigations can continue without speculation. Putting it on a discussion board will surely encourage speculation.

It said in the daily mail Confused

AquaPeer · 08/03/2025 07:28

What a weird bunch of nasty responses. Makes the posters sound quite stupid too.

i do think it probably isn’t bigger news because the victim wasn’t badly injured. I wonder who stopped him? Other teachers maybe. What a traumatic event

Does the emoji in your post indicate that you think you're funny? Or that threats of violence are funny? Your teachers had a lucky escape

@chocmalt he's going away for a long time. I’m not sure he has future prospects. Op just wanted the ‘thrill’ of being connected to some drama.

or maybe she’s his wife.

What is your issue?. Are you the woman they were fighting over?
