By 45p a week. What will you be spending your extra 45p on?

OP posts:
Loveanewusername · 07/03/2025 17:36

Hmmm between them an extra 75p . It might buy a loaf of bread (if I’m lucky) they would have to share it though x

honestly it probably cost more in admin work making the change/ discussing it then the actual rise 🤣

Doggymummar · 07/03/2025 17:39

Prostitutes and glue

Saving up for a couple of weeks then rocking up at Home Bargains to get myself at bottle of Reef. Party like it's 1996

OMG! Am reading this in the Doctor's waiting room and this thread is cracking me up! 🤣🤣🤣Keep exploding laughing!

MumsyMumC · 07/03/2025 17:47

My lovely 45p weekly uplift will be going towards my lovely £50 per week increase in childcare !

Barney16 · 07/03/2025 17:57

A big salad.

Lordofmyflies · 07/03/2025 18:09

Baba Ganoush probably.

SapphireSeptember · 07/03/2025 18:18

I'm going to buy some nail polish! Some expensive stuff that gets shipped over from the US. 😁

BooomShakeTheRoom · 07/03/2025 18:20

Nothing, don’t qualify as my partner earns too much, even though our combined income isn’t loads.

AInightingale · 07/03/2025 18:21

Three onions.
A packet of Space Raiders
Half an hour's tumble-drying

According to Google, 140 euros for each child.

tsmainsqueeze · 07/03/2025 18:29

I would rather they didn't bother , bloody insulting .
Do they think anyone's going to be grateful for this ?

Pippinsdiary · 07/03/2025 18:33

Oh, please stop being so ungrateful it’s better than nothing…. I can’t wait for April now so I can relax and stop worrying about money 🤑🥴

Meadowfinch · 07/03/2025 18:37

45p a week. 🙄

My ds is in full eating-everything-in-sight mode. He's 6' tall. Size 11 feet.

I guess his extra 45p will pay for an extra quarter of a loaf of a bread.

SpongeKnobNoPants · 07/03/2025 18:45

FreddieMercurysCat · 07/03/2025 18:55

Looks like I can splash out on a new tattoo with my 45p! Cracking :)

Overthebow · 06/03/2025 20:03

By 45p a week. What will you be spending your extra 45p on?

3 kids...4 including my husband. I will save the 4x 45p a week and buy them a gob-stopper each at the end of the month. That will be my me time, where nobody asks me Where's Dad,.

mediumdicketh · 07/03/2025 20:45

That is true. Try 3pounds a week that just covers nappies your child must eat dust idiot men and idiot women.

XenoBitch · 07/03/2025 20:49

I don't have kids, but this increase definitely seems worth my while to either nick one, or pretend I have one. What riches!

Stop having children if you can't afford them.

HWDDHOH · 08/03/2025 07:00

Lol. You've got issues and thankfully you're in a minority. A minority of gap toothed mostly men with beer bellies and the love of the far right emblazoned over their fat sweaty faces.
