It doesn't have to be groundbreaking but it's fairly evident that the majority of people have found it unwatchable. And it screams of a lack of awareness. As does most of what they decided would be "content" for public consumption.

Despite the hate which is unfortunate she has already moved on.

Despite creating hundreds off threads, having an entire media apparatus against here she has moved on with her life:
She's built a lovely family, a lovely community around here, lovely and lucrative business ventures and a lovely unachievable lifestyle.

Her detectors are stuck in the past, she is not and that is remarkable.

I am not going to go into this so called inflammatory content about the RF because I am genuinely bored with them and don't wish to discuss them any longer.

So why are they watching in their millions then? As per the Netflix figures 😂

Are these people fixated on her not being authentic because the Meghan that we are seeing on the show is a sweet, dorky woman who enjoys wholesome activities such as cooking for her family and hosting, a very different image compared to this she- devil caricature that they have tried to portray for years?Is that what they really mean when screaming inauthentic?

I have been hesitant to say it because I know so many people are just so overwhelmingly negative but the biggest takeaway for me from the series it that Meghan’s a total dork. I always thought she was overly earnest, but now I realize she’s just goofy and awkward sometimes—and honestly, it’s hilarious. But people can't and won't see it because she is really a pantomime villain in their heads.

It is just not true.
Repeating these lies again and again won't change reality.

I agree - she has absolutely moved on and it really is interesting how so many others just have not. She literally has not lived in this country for 5 years and has been relatively quiet.

As said previously, if people keep the same energy with season 2(by watching and "hating every minute of it" ) we will definitely have a season 3 🤣🤣

I'm middle of the road and I liked it 😁... Background for me and light background rather than a serious sit down watch but I enjoyed it I'd love to see her do more in her enclave eg go to the farmer market or antiques shops she mentioned.
She's got a light easy style I find enjoyable.

Obviously I was taking the piss at those who proudly came here admitting that they sat through not 1 , not 2 but 8 episodes whilst hating " every minute of it" .

No she doesn't need the "haters", but their are still adding to her viewership numbers.
So why not?if they want to hate watch a show that they claim to hate and continue to contribute with putting money in this woman's pockets, who am I to stop them? 🤣

Whatever happens with the series Meghan has already made her money. If it does well, that is great, if it doesn't like with any other projects in life, it will not be the end of the world.

Yes of course, the type of work that you put out and the viewing numbers ultimately counts when working with a platform like Netflix and in the business world in general.

I don't work for Meghan, so I don't know what her future projects with Netflix are. I don't anticipate a cooking show to last 10 seasons( we are not talking about Grey's Anatomy). This is what I meant when I said "she has already made her money":

There would probably be an agreement with Netflix on roughly the number of series they wish to produce when it comes to WLM( provided that the viewing numbers are good). Is it 2- 3- 4 who knows?

I know that people who are invested in seeing a stranger fail are going to forever move the goal post - "Awww she's s got renewed for a second series let's see what happens with the third? " Awww the 3 series is coming out let's if she will get a forth".

To be fair though she made herself the panto villain. That snippet on Oprah about no one teaching her the National Anthem, she’s surly, serious faced and annoyed about it, I don’t see any self deprecating goofiness or giggling about how she had to google it, she treated it like an absolute affront. It was hardly shocking neglect that an actress was left to her own abilities to learn some lines of a song in her own mother tongue. It was this sort of nonsense that made me think what a petulant whiner. She’s had to work to try and win people over for a reason.

I would like to see Montecito. The only thing I liked of the very little I’ve seen so far was the outside views. I’m not that bothered about big houses but I love to see the gardens and grounds rich people have.

I’ve not seen it and wouldn’t care to watch it as I’m not a fan. I see there was a cartoon skit of Harry and Megan and I had to laugh, it seems quite fitting and accurate

What about things such as working on smart work(a very successful project), partaking in the creation of a cooking book and so many other things. This woman has been accused of many things, but not being proactive is certainly not one of those!

Yes she did. it’s one of the snippets I’ve seen (didn’t watch the actual interview). ‘H’ is talking and she interrupts him and says something like “Even, the National Anthem, no one helped me, there’s me in the early hours googling it”. Or words to that effect. For someone who doesnt believe in mollycoddling staff (remember that?) she complained (with narky face) that she wasn’t getting a handhold to learn a song’. Even if she’s being goofy, giggly whatever that snarky side of her was out for people to see and it’s not easy for some (like me) to dismiss that aspect of her or think she’s just a loveable goofball really.

I don’t like her mean girl vibe. I was also highlighting I don't believe she’s just a loveable but misunderstood goofball.

Meghan did not talk about the National Anthem at all in the Oprah interview. I watched it. She did not talk about the anthem - you might be might be thinking about something else and might want to watch those clips again.
