AIBU to be utterly horrified that the US has cut off military aid to Ukraine?

I was hoping that it was mostly just bluster from Trump. But we've woken up to the news that he has actually done it. He's literally swapped sides in the war and is now standing with the aggressor, Russia, and abandoning the victim, Ukraine.

I don't and Zelenski is openly snatching young men off the streets and forcing them to fight with certain death on the front line. I won't bother arguing the toss about the history of this conflict as I know I am right and others wrong. It's impossible to explain this to those with hate for putin and Trump... I have been following this conflict since before 2014..fully aware of the agreements broken by Ukraine. I don't wish to go down that road as it becomes pantomime!! What I,d love to see is peace and I really don't care, and not should anyone, about land loss. It is just land and land the Russian speaking Ukrainians voted to become Russian protected. Ukraine can never win this war. It's impossible. Time for them to lay down their arms and talk to Putin. The alternative is that Russia takes all of Ukraine after another few years of bloodshed.

Most Americans are opposed to meddling in foreign wars. It never ends! Economically it is bankrolled by printing money out of thin air which is a tax on the poor (inflationary Monterey policy disproportionately hurts the most vulnerable of our citizens)

We don’t want to police the world while we send future generations so far into debt we may never recover as an intact nation!!

From a moral standpoint, the creation of the US army was controversial. US was never supposed to have a standing army. This was our founding fathers fear based on what happened with British empire and Bank of England financing an unsustainable military empire while taxing common people into ruin.

China has more billionaires than any other country. Why don’t rich Chinese help Europe? Because they are too busy expanding their military and building military bases and debt traps in Africa. This is a much bigger threat and they are allied with Moscow.

What utter bollocks. If that were true there would be an exodus of fighting age men out of Ukraine just like the stream of young American men into Canada in the time of the Vietnam war. Zelenskyy - note the correct spelling - wants peace, he also wants the blood already spilt not to have been in vain.

Trump has appointed Elon Musk to oversee doge....interestingly musk has shut down several of the departments that were investigating him for breaches of safety and legality....strangely enough. Somewhat worrying since his space x has exploded the last 2 times and they're taking over the FAA pretty much!!! As the latest one went up in smoke I thought there goes she doge 'savings'.

Musk has been given MULTIPLE OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS ( @ 19 billion if google is to be believed) for his projects. Why is America giving billion dollar contracts to musk for Starlink, Space X , Tesla , so this ONE 'man' is overseeing their communications, their Aviation and supporting his car manufacturing business. I'm no business brain but why oh why would any business put all their contracts into one person...if he goes down they all go down? Madness.

As for his 'free speech' X ...it shuts anyone down if they say anything that isn't straight from the musk bible.

America has lost its goddamn mind...it has taken trump less than 2 months to tank the economy, if he is doing it deliberately ..to enrich himself and his billionaire friends that's bad enough ...but if he truly believed tarriffs would benefit the economy then he is even stupider than we thought. Either way he is off his rocker. But don't be fooled, trump is looking after himself primarily, all that flag hugging, dancing to ymca and I love America is total BS...the only thing he loves more than himself is money, and he doesn't care how he gets it.

What did the world expect Ukraine to do? Not defend itself
