Just wondering what people’s thoughts are on this one. I’m torn.

On one hand he is free to wear what he wants and feels comfortable in to wherever he wishes however, it also seems disrespectful to show such contempt to the Oscars and, to his colleagues who have all bothered to make a huge effor

He was wearing a blue top. When he kissed Timothy Chalamet, in yellow, they made the Ukraine colours.

Something positive there.

My thoughts are that I can't stand the kind of "comedian" who singles out individual members of the audience to mock, in the expectation that other people will laugh. It smacks of bullying rather than any demonstration of wit.

Was it not a scripted part of the show? I didn't get the impression that it was meant to be spontaneous, or anything other than a gag.

Well done to the Oscars and so I’m guessing hugging Chalamet was deliberate then. ie together they had on the Ukrainian flag colours!

I avoid watching the Oscars these days. In fact I stopped watching films with certain actors in it. At least they did not have slapping the host on stage and that hideous film Emily Perez did not win many Oscars as per the newspapers.

That was part of the show. He had a mic on.
We wouldn't have been able to hear him if it wasn't planned.
