The point is that the Russian economy has huge problems and the Russians are pretty desperate. They want the sanctions lifted and the money back. These oligarchs want their nice lives back and their properties and their parties.

I'm really confused about this Iron Dome stuff.

The US already has Ground-based Midcourse Defense to protect it from intercontinental missile (the sort that maybe Russia, China etc could use).

Current Iron Dome specs are for missiles and drones in a 4km to 70km distance. I know Trump has pissed off the Canadians and Mexicans, but really! Does anyone think Canada or Mexico will attack the US? Or is he getting ready for a civil war?
