Why did you start this thread Op? So that everyone could agree with you how awful she looks?

To be fair, most people do.

dawngreen · 25/02/2025 19:06

The nose and eyes messed with could really affect her health. As some one with a disability I cannot understand why a healthy decent looking person could do that to them self. I don't see the need for fillers either. My niece insists on getting them. I just think it looks like she has been beaten up with badly swollen eyes and cheeks. Then the lip fillers look massive.

BatchCookBabe · 25/02/2025 19:20

She HAS had her nose amputated (for all the posters saying she hasn't) and it WAS a surgeon who did it. Who the fuck do you think did it if not a surgeon? A bloody Car Mechanic or a Barista?

If you think THIS is not an amputated nose, you need to get yourself to Specsavers. SHE HAS NO NOSE LEFT. Just nostrils!

Here's a couple more links to the story. In both of these links it makes reference to her amputated nose.

Dutch woman spends over $100,000 on body modifications, becomes first to voluntarily amputate nose

I quite like the forehead horns.

Her body, her choice.
(And she looks far less weird than the ‘filler queens’.)

Mumsnet “be kind” brigade in “being absolutely fucking rotten to anyone who looks different” shocker.

It's not just her life. It's everyone else that has to look at her..

Close your eyes and get a hobby so you don’t have time to waste judging other people 🤷🏻‍♀️

and should be prosecuted.

Why should they be prosecuted? She chose to do this and is probably happy with her choice. That’s like saying someone should be prosecuted for tattooing someone’s face or stretching their ear lobes. She’s a grown adult who can make her own choices. Whether people like it or not

Her nose is surely going to bring her some serious health problems in later life or maybe even now (I do tend to look through the lens of a menopausal woman).

I have questions:

Does she remove bogies so people cant see or leave them on view?

If she runs do flies go in there? It looks a bit unavoidable and I’ve dealt with a fly up the nose when running.

Is her sense of smell better or worse?

What does having a heavy cold look like?

Not sure what you mean about "lens of a menopausal woman" ?
Being menopausal doesn't make you judgemental.

I meant the tattoo artist, not her.

I do disagree with the immediate jump to mentally ill though. It's a bit of a patronising thing and extreme body mods are part of a culture and lifestyle. You can't get these things done in the UK since a big case a few years ago when a chap was sent to prison because he didn't have the correct licenses ie in surgical procedures.

Anyone with capacity has the right to make unwise decisions, even to harm themselves, otherwise there would be no addicts or alcoholics. Unwise decisions are subjective to cultural norms and fashions.

Just because someone chooses to do something you wouldn't contemplate, it doesn't necessarily make them mentally ill.

Mumsnet “be kind” brigade in “being absolutely fucking rotten to anyone who looks different” shocker.

I don't subscribe to the 'be kind' brigade thank you very much, and I think it's a load of utter nonsense. #BeKind is a way to shut women down, and stop them from having opinions and views.

Your passive aggressive comment is not going to shut me down, or make me stop commenting if I wish. People are allowed to comment on others and how they look, especially if they look extreme, and especially if they post multiple pictures of themselves online and promote how they look. It's a free country, and the last time I checked, we had free speech.

People forget her nose can be reconstructed too

Mumsnet “be kind” brigade in “being absolutely fucking rotten to anyone who looks different” shocker.

Who the fuck are the MN "be kind" brigade? I've been on here 12 years and I don't subscribe to that either.

She looks horrendous and most people will agree with that - I'm pretty sure when she decided to tattoo her whole face, body and eyeballs, cut her tongue in half and dye it black and chop off her nose etc she didn't exactly think that people would be telling her she looks lovely did she?

Why do you think that anyone owes it to her to be kind? I'm pretty sure she doesn't give a flying fuck anyway - you'd have to have rhinoceros skin to walk down the street in public like that!

C36M · 25/02/2025 19:57

mommyfinger · 24/02/2025 20:26

She said because she thinks unique is beautiful. No it's all permanent and the body mods too, she has had part of her nose removed and horn like implants in her forehead

The horns can be removed and the nose can be reconstructed. It’s not really anyone else’s business

C36M · 25/02/2025 19:59

mommyfinger · 24/02/2025 21:37

Come on people, I know there are thrill seekers out there, people like to shock etc I get all that, and that's totally fine. But for fucks sake, it's her nose, it's gone, don't we need a nose ? Isn't that why we all have one ?! The nose along with the black eyeballs is plain creepy.
Sorry if that makes me horrible, or unfeminist but it's true. I would be gutted if my kids did that to themselves. And yes as a pp said, imagine waking up to that in the night standing by your bed 😳

I doubt she’s going to appear by anyone’s bed 🙈

Cloudtime · 25/02/2025 20:03

AndThereSheGoes · 24/02/2025 20:58

I don't really think there's much difference to getting a nose removed as there is cutting off a penis or breasts. It's about the look which for whatever reason someone prefers.

I don't think it will catch on mind..

Who has their penis or breasts removed for cosmetic reasons ? I’ve never heard of that

YourHappyJadeEagle · 25/02/2025 20:04

MrsTerryPratchett · 24/02/2025 20:28

Self harm.

Probably from trauma.

Maybe not putting it out there for judgement would be nice.

This. I was going to say some reason in her past resulting in self harm. Poor woman, I’m amazed someone would do the nose disfigurement and horns (?) on another person.

tommyhoundmum · 25/02/2025 19:46

I know, why should they be prosecuted when she would have asked them to do it? She can have her nose reconstructed if she wants to

Nomorechipsforme · 25/02/2025 20:06

Good God just imagine having to look at the snot when she gets a cold 🤣😂🤣. I always wanted to have a tattoo when I was younger but a regretful 80 year old showed me way age tuns then in to😳

Cloudtime · 25/02/2025 20:06

It’s very striking. I actually like her eyes but either way it’s her choice . I can’t get excited let alone horrified about someone else’s cosmetic choices .

Gloriia · 25/02/2025 20:08

Just horrific but no different to men having having their genitals removed or women having bilateral mastectomies in an attempt to look like something they are not.

It should be illegal for Doctors to remove healthy tissue for cosmetic/alternative look purposes.

OogieBoogiO · 25/02/2025 20:12

I thought along similar lines. Overly made up, tanned and lip filler looks scare me too because it’s like trying to hide/obliterate yourself. Just in forms that are more socially acceptable.

The difference to me though is the symbolism present here, seemingly glorifying (or making light of) death (in the skeleton-like nose and tattoos) and evil (the horns).

Trying to obliterate yourself (wether it looks more or less beautiful) gives me demonic vibes.
