My thoughts exactly

@TheLightSideOfTheMoon

lol how do fillers look worse? Like you can’t even tell a lot of people have had fillers.

LuckySantangelo35 · 26/02/2025 10:50

Why are some people being so disingenuous saying fillers look worse? Weird.

It’s not disingenuous, it’s an opinion.

I dislike fillers, mostly lip fillers. I don’t think they look good.

The lady with the tattoos and no nose is clearly going for a certain ‘look’ and she’s embraced it.

People with fillers are also going for a ‘look’, and that’s fine.

However, one isn’t worse than the other. They both look out of the ordinary.

I also don’t like the glow in the dark plastic teeth people get. Again, it looks out of place.

This lady sadly looks terrible, like something from a horror film. Far worse than any overfilled lips.

@TheLightSideOfTheMoon

you can’t compare what this lady looks like with someone who has had lip fillers. You just can’t.

Why not?

It’s all body modifications.

I’m not saying people shouldn’t have them done. I’m just saying they all come under the same umbrella.

No, this lady has put herself out there to get attention, of course people are going to talk about her positively or negatively.

Naughty teonaidh went off on one to the two posters who said they don’t believe in the ‘Be kind’ stuff, using amongst others ‘rotten bitch’, fucking minger’ and my personal favourite ‘ya boring gowl’ 🤣😆

It is still a personal insult. The person who has posted this on here has decided they are better than someone else, purely because of the way they look. They then decided to post this on here in the hope to make themselves feel better by tearing someone else down. Hoping other people will join them in tearing someone else down (purely for the way they choose to look).

It’s sad really, that people waste so much of their time caring about how someone else looks, and what someone else CHOOSES to do with their lives, when it has no impact upon their own lives. Maybe people need to get a job or a hobby or something 🤷🏻‍♀️

Self harm.

Probably from trauma.

Maybe not putting it out there for judgement would be nice.

The fact that the link is to Apple News would suggest that it is already out there. 🙄

LuckySantangelo35 · 26/02/2025 13:27

Never fails me to amaze me how some people can shoehorn their contempt of women who get fillers into any random thread!

fillers are like makeup - if done well - they can enhance anyone’s looks.

ToeKneeBeee · 26/02/2025 13:43

I'm more of the opinion that it's her bloody choice!

So by the same token a poor girl who has anorexia, it is her choice to look like she does yeah? I’d argue, and it’s the same with this woman, that there is something deeply troubling going on with their mental health and I would prefer them to get professional help.

Anorexia can kill.
And with anorexia, there is the underlying mental illness that means the sufferer lacks capacity and can be sectioned.
Totally different to someone getting tattoos and body mods. Or are you suggesting this lady should be hospitalised against her will so she can be forced to stop further mods?

I’d say the surgeon needs sectioning tbh. Don’t try and pretend that this is anything like extreme tattoos/piercings because it’s clearly not.

This.

Reminds me of Rick Genest (RIP). It's a defence and coping mechanism.

this. It's not rare. Think almost anyone who goes overboard with tats or body stuff is this way

mommyfinger · 26/02/2025 15:00

@C36M Oh yes I feel so much better in myself now for sharing this story ! I felt like utter shit before I saw this ladies body mods. Thank you random lady making me feel so much superior to you!

Or maybe I'm human and humans like to talk and open discussions about things they see in the news ?

Well it's extreme. Tattoos and piercings are all about making a statement but loads of people are now covered in them so I guess she had to go more extreme to stand out from the crowd and get some media attention.

I'm not into needle related / permenant body art. In fact I don't really like being noticed at all but lots of people do....it takes all sorts I suppose.

I told my kids not to get tattooed or piercings as all their friends were doing it. If they wanted to be different to the crowd don't fall for it.

TheignT · 26/02/2025 15:14

Kahless · 24/02/2025 21:20

So what about a breast reduction? That's healthy bits....

I worked with someone who had breast reduction. It was done on the NHS because of her crippling back pain. I agree her breast tissue was probably healthy but she was living on strong painkillers so it certainly wasn't healthy.

Exactly that!!! Everyone has piercings and tattoos these days, so it’s no longer ‘edgy’. Which is why, I’m guessing, this lady has pushed the boundaries again. Look at me, look at meeee.

The difference is this is permanent. I know you can get tattooes removed but I don't know what it involves. I would hope she can get the horns removed if she changed her mind but the nose can't regrow. The nose doesn't seem healthy to me but as someone with a very snotty cold and a cold sore up my nose I might be a bit over focused. It is pretty agonising to blow my nose. Hopefully only a few days left.

I thought being different by not having anything done was an easier option.

Yorkshirelass04 · 26/02/2025 15:49

I hope she never gets a runny nose or bogies.

Clearly it’s permanent. It’s nose??

I was asking about the tattoos first post after the op - no need to be a smart arse.

I saw.

I still think the excessive fillers look worse.

None of it looks good but that's a ridiculous thing to say
