To be very weirded out by Elon Musks reproductive choices

I think he's up to twelve or thirteen children now with no sign of stopping and seems to have a very transactional approach to impregnating a series of women (presumably through IVF). It really speaks to looking at women as baby machines.
The colossal ego he has about maintaining his bloodline is so noxious.
I'm worried someone like him is so influential.
We'll be in the handmaid's tale before long.

Instead of trying to be clever, try reading the thread. I have offered no opinion of Mr Musk.

Mr. Musk?😁An opinion doesn't need to be explicit to come through loud and clear. I've read the thread, thanks. Ironic that for someone who was trying to be clever asking if someone's life was dull to discuss this issue, you have so much to say on it, let alone accuse others of trying to be clever.

@TY78910 Where? I'm no fan of his but where would he say that?

It was a long time ago that I’ve seen this so don’t have the exact link but this is from a quick google:

Well he is weird, so his life is weird.

His children unfortunately will probably be just like him

There's a reel of his child, X, basically telling Trump he's not the president. I found it very amusing because Trump is just looking at this kid. I wonder how much he picks up listening to his father.

OkPedro · 15/02/2025 17:39

Why are so many posters who seem to love EM keep calling him Mr Musk?

JHound · 15/02/2025 17:41

Toseland · 15/02/2025 17:12

I was really pleased when he created X and freed speech. People, especially women, were being banned for years for the most ridiculous things and some of the moderators he ousted clearly had warped political agendas.
He could be the ultimate baddie, but I suspect that accolade will go to some of the secretive billionaires we don't hear so much about; the Pritzkers, Strykers and Gills.

He did not create X.

To differentiate them from those of us who call him 'The Musky Man' and so on. He's the president afterall - 'Mr Musk/Mr President'.

Redheadedstepchild · 15/02/2025 18:00

I'm just waiting for the first cloned Musk child, Dolly the Sheep style. Place your bets now, folks.

I might just do that. I wonder what odds the bookies will give me.🤔

Bloom15 · 15/02/2025 18:03

Trump will get sick of Musk soon - he won't want to be seen as Musk's lieutenant! Whether Musk will go quietly is another matter...

Porcuporpoise · 15/02/2025 18:06

Yeah not sure ol' Donald is going to find it quite as easy to dismiss Musk as he might think.

Clocloxx · 15/02/2025 18:21

LifeExperience · 15/02/2025 17:03

That was in North Dakota, not the whole US, and the measure has merely been proposed and is unlikely to get out of committee.

No wonder so many MNers think we Americans are crazy. People only read the headlines.

Has to start somewhere, is America not spilt between Republicans and democrats

That's what I thought initially, but now I'm not sure. He seems to be in the same position with Musk as he is with Putin. Puts up with anything. There was that performance in the Oval Office the other day, where Musk's son apparently told Trump he wasn't the President. Trump was just sitting there nodding and smiling.

This is the problem with X under Musk. It's created people who are so happy they can dump on trans people to their hearts' content, they're happy to overlook the stream of lies, propaganda, misinformation, disinformation, anti-semitism, misogyny, facsist-curious, nazi-lite (and non lite) and ablism that proliferate over there. His algorithm pollutes brains.

And Elon's such a big fan of free speech right up until he doesn't like it or his widdle feelings get hurt and then it's threats, doxxing and cancellation.

I have been saying he has Lex Luther vibes for so long!!! Glad someone else also thinks this 😆

He’s a Bond Villain in the flesh. Down to the satellites circling the planet.

Bloom15 · 15/02/2025 18:32

@NotTerfNorCis - that is a sobering thought

FancyRedRobin · 15/02/2025 18:35

When I look at how he produces babies like they are a product and the regressive moves in relation to abortion and contraception in America, I think we should be worried about our American sisters and ourselves.
Women are broodmares in their eyes.

Also I think we can all see that Trump is scared of him and somehow compromised by him, nothing else explains the circus in the Oval Office the other day.

GreenBlueYellowPink · 15/02/2025 18:39

If you read his wiki info, he had a messed up
childhood. No wonder, just from the little we know, he’s such a psychopath. No excuse of course, he’s vile.

It's only been a few weeks, give it time.

This is going to be the most bigly great and totally terrific split of the century. And I, for one, am looking forward to it.Grin

I mean I'm not even a fan of musk but moaning about this had always struck me as complete bullshit should he choose his baby mummas to be as ugly and unintelligent as possible to prove he's not a nazi/practising eugenics? Maybe throw some Huntington's disease into the mix, if you don't want to you're a nazi. I'm sure if we all did that the world would be a better place

Call me old fashioned but I thought the norm was having kids with someone you loved and respected and thought you could share your life with rather than assessing their genetic possibilities.

I agree. Trump just sat there as if he had no power. Very weird.

Mr Musk owns Free Speech. Paradox? When the inevitable fallout between Mr Musk and Bigly occurs, I'm unconvinced that Bigly is going to win. That will be problematic. Anyone remember that '2 Tribes go to War' video?

This. He hasn’t “freed speech”. Hes just changed the topics which can be discussed on X. Changed the algorithm for what gets promoted and what disappears.

Neither Musk nor Trump like free speech. Hence the banning of AP reporter from the Oval Office and air force one because they won’t call the Gulf of Mexico the gulf of America. They said failure by the AP to speak this fact means they can’t be trusted and that AP spread misinformation 🤣

I’m looking forward to this day. Musk will crucify Trump at some point, he will certainly know where the bodies are buried.
