To be very weirded out by Elon Musks reproductive choices

I think he's up to twelve or thirteen children now with no sign of stopping and seems to have a very transactional approach to impregnating a series of women (presumably through IVF). It really speaks to looking at women as baby machines.
The colossal ego he has about maintaining his bloodline is so noxious.
I'm worried someone like him is so influential.
We'll be in the handmaid's tale before long.

So the newest baby mama has just being calling Elon out on X, apparently she’s been trying to get in touch for days and he isn’t responding. Her tweet has been deleted!

But how can that be?Confused Elon Musk is a champion of freedom of speech for women! I'm shocked! Shocked I tell ya.

Mecheng2 · 16/02/2025 20:40

Completely agree , this man is very concerning generally too . Money is replacing democracy and he is leading the charge

FancyRedRobin · 16/02/2025 21:48

I guess it's how he's having the children. Doesn't seem to be as a result of relationships/flings. Very transactional.
It shouldn't surprise me though, US conservatives are very concerned with children when they are in utero, and not so much when they are out in the world.
It's difficult to imagine how he parents them or whether he does at all.
Then what's the point?
If the only point is gene continuation, it's very depressing and egotistical.

What on earth are you talking about?

CerealPosterHere · 16/02/2025 22:58

Elon’s child, Vivienne, the one he has no contact with is spilling the dirt on their TikTok account. Says they only found out about two of their hard siblings via reading about them on Reddit.

Everything about him weirds me out. The whole American government situation weirds me out.

The latest one seems to have been a fling. Gross.

You're absolutely right. One of my favourite quotes is from George Carlin:

“Boy, these conservatives are really something, aren't they? They're all in favor of the unborn. They will do anything for the unborn. But once you're born, you're on your own. Pro-life conservatives are obsessed with the fetus from conception to nine months. After that, they don't want to know about you. They don't want to hear from you. No nothing. No neonatal care, no day care, no head start, no school lunch, no food stamps, no welfare, no nothing. If you're preborn, you're fine; if you're preschool, you're fucked.”

This is Trump, Musk and his cabinet.

Nikki75 · 17/02/2025 09:36

I agree ... he is unpredictable and his father is no better .. scary !!

I believe he must have done the sex selection thing. The guy believes in eugenics after all and probably why most of his children are ivf.

Very horrid man.

I believe one of his children is trans and has disowned their father.

Kitten1982 · 17/02/2025 12:53

I’ve only read the first page of comments, so excuse me if I’m repeating others, but it’s not Elon Musk’s children alone that is concerning. It’s more than one man trying to make babies as much as possible. The pronatalist movement (also a part of his father’s ideology) has taken the techbros by force. Their response to population decline hasn’t been to consider technological responses to an ageing population, or even to accept that immigration can be a good thing, it’s been to ideologically push the idea that women need to have as many babies as possible. This is Gilead on our doorstep. The same population decline is happening in the UK and the US far-right techbro cabal has a lot of influence over the thinking of young men here too. We should be terrified.

She is. And he’s tried saying he became far-right because of it, rather than owning his own behaviour, and he’s said that his “son” is “dead” because of her transitioning. I think it’s particularly bizarre and hateful for a father, who actually did have their first son die, to then use this rhetoric against an 18yo, right in front of the whole world.

I mean, we're basically talking about someone who bought a social media platform because he wasn't allowed to call people the 'r word' on Twitter, and then funded Trump for president because Biden hurt his widdle feelings by not inviting him to something. So I don't think we're exactly dealing with rational, adult motivation here.

I recently saw two psychologists discussing the fact that he's clearly hypomanic, not to mention the Ketamine use and lack of clarity as to who is overseeing it. I don't think there's enough attention on his obvious mental health issues.

Old German saying "Kinder, Kuche, Kirche", the only worthy purpose for women. Children, Cooking, Church. Keeping the Old Country ways.

Serpentstooth · 17/02/2025 14:34

Agree. to sum up, he's a drug addled menace, in cahoots with an ageing deluded president, a vice-president who clearly can't tell the difference between Europe and Russia - given his deranged 'speech' in Munich - and a gang of neo-nazis. What could possibly go wrong?

CorduroySituation · 17/02/2025 14:36

LauraNorda · 15/02/2025 14:00

Why are you bothered? Is your own life so dull?

What a stupid post.

People are able to think about things beyond their own lives!

If you can't, that's just sad.

But you're a bot anyway so who cares.

I thought this thread was about Mr Musks reproductive choices, not his potential to be a bond villain?

There is nothing anyone can do about him, bar impotent whinging on websites like this.

Threads can be about anything posters want to make them, by posting, on an open public forum.

Better keep taking our chances to have free speech while we can.

Platypuslover · 17/02/2025 15:06

We all should be more concerned about him using his child as a human shield!

Platypuslover · 17/02/2025 15:07

Musk is also clearly an abuser and groomer!

You’ll be hard pushed to find someone in Germany today that thinks that way and doesn’t consider thumping a person spouting that drivel!

Serpentstooth · 17/02/2025 15:17

I'm aware of that, thanks, but the sentiment is clearly thriving in present day America and has unfortunate antecedents. My apologies to any German people I have unintentionally offended, my contempt is for the present day adherents in the USA.

The whole eugenics thing as a serious movement really got started in California. (actually the idea was coined by an English person so we bear responsibility too, but it was those go-getting Californians doers who started it as a serious movement and who inspired the Nazis. To the extent of being in correspondence with German scientists and funding prewar German labs. And being jealous that the germans were able to go so much further than them. ) Everything comes back round.

I am no saying I am for or against, just putting up a different viewpoint for people to consider as this thread seems very judgemental.

He is autistic. Typically people with autism can come across as arkward and transactional as many have mentioned. That doesn't make him necessarily 'bad'.

He didn't want the presidency or vice presidency. He wants to be able to work on his plans, which he clearly believes are the right thing to do (again, rightly or wrongly, but he believes in them). If you had his IQ and wealth, I'm sure you would want to push through what you believe in too. Why not? If I could afford it I'd have loads of kids too, they just bring so much joy!

My sister is autistic. Insanely clever. Socially arkward. Very transactional. She wanted a child but did not like the idea of being out of control of her body, she struggles with change, she runs a company and didn't feel she could hand over the reins and also didn't want to let people down. She looked into surrogacy. Maybe there are reasons too for Elon that we don't know here. Maybe the women at the time couldn't carry a child? My point is we do not know and are jumping to negative conclusions, which may, or may not be correct.

And to imply he doesn't love his kids is a bit far. Having a lot of kids doesn't mean you don't love them. Naturally or through IVF doesn't mean you don't love them. I think that's too judgemental when we are bit that close to his life.

Oh no, don't you dare suggest that this abomination is typical of autistic people and that he's so nice underneath and not at all fascist.

People with anti social personality disorder are 'transactional'. A trait which has fuck all to do with autism.
