Thats how I use it. As a minimising statement. I'm low key pissed off. As in, I don't really care, not enough to do anything about it, but I'm still going to to batch about it!
@PointsSouth i also use Not Gonna Lie too. Obviously never considered lying, it just means owning something shamelessly. Not gonna lie, I ate the whole buffet. Not Gonna Lie, I say these phrases all the time!
@billycat321 I start so many sentences with So that I have to edit my work emails to remove it and make it professional before I send 😆

@Rosscameasdoody I can tolerate going forward, as long as it isn't added to the end of sentences, especially in emails. That's was a real trend at an ex-workplace. "Let's eat cake, going forward"
Just for fun, I sometimes intensely use cringeworthy phrases that I haven't heard in our office, just to see how long it takes to hear it back in a meeting from someone else. Stupid stuff like saying "whats the gold standard way to do this" in every meeting I have for a few weeks. I know its sad, but you have to have fun in the office.
