so I'm in no way, shape or form "woo" buuutttt just been sitting on side of my bed texting on my phone and my soundbar for TV (which I've had for 4 years with no issues) just decided to launch itself onto the floor, has hit my foot and cut it, picked it back up thinking how weird 🤷🤷 went back to my phone and a bottle of water, tube of face cream and a lip balm on top of my chest of drawers then launched themselves across the room, pretty freaked out by this point but still being rational in my head, picked phone back up carried on messaging back a friend, looked up to think what I was trying to type and felt a big tap /slap and literally saw my phone fly in the air and land other side of room, trying hard to think rationally but feeling pretty spooked right now
😭there's a rational reason for all this, yes???

So, you were slapped, your mobile flew across the room l, plus the other odd happenings & you're still there. I'd be out of there like a shot. Aren't you terrified?

Well we do have slag heaps of slate, granite, limestone. Coal more towards Wrexham I think. Blasting perhaps. We do get rumbles in north west Wales.

stfu I'm near wxm 😱😱😱😱

We had a sink hole at the houses at the bottom of my street. Caused a lot of damage inside and out of the houses 😔 8 flats had to be demolished. Please keep an eye, it literally started with a crack at the front door leading to upstairs flat. The stairs detached from the building whilst the family were in it.

Do you have a teen child? Poltergeists are attracted to their energy apparently.

no they are in their 20's and I'm their own homes now☺️

Has anything else happened since you first posted? Take your dog upstairs and keep it in the room with you. If the dog acts strange, barks at nothing, that will let you know if anything is there

shed be no help, she barks if we breathe and just acts strange most days anyway ☺️love her to bits tho

I didn't post soley for a laugh... it actually happened, the other poster just took one line out of context where I said I'd posted 1,for a laugh(cos I know what MN is like with this stuff) and 2,for advice

Well you've been given the advice to check your local FB group and your local news, to see if there's been any kind of event that's caused movement/vibration.

But rather than take it, you just gave a weird reply about being 'wacko'?

Is 'wacko' the same as attention seeking?

@Tacsi It doesn't need to be a Catholic priest, any priest of any faith can bless a house!

I'm atheist so anyone of the "cloth" or any faith is a no go😕😕

I get where you’re coming from.

When I was a child I woke to see an old lady in the corner of my bedroom. She looked like my mum in a wig. It was terrifying. I told my mum and but she didn’t believe me, although she did look a bit shifty.

Soon after, my parents told me about things flying around the house. Hairbrushes, toys, newspapers, my dad’s toupee, that sort of thing. My parents got very frightened and got in a local witch. She waved around some burning sage.

Unfortunately it set fire to the curtains and the house burnt down. While we were in a hotel, the presence came again. It emptied the mini-bar and made loads of calls to room service.

There was a happy ending though. We got a new council house that was bigger than the last one!

Ah. When a student I used to live in Penmachno for a time. Loads of redundant mining operations under and around the village often linked to subsidence and rumbles. Just a thought!

far away from me, but sure it's lovely☺️

Just ask them to leave out loud and they will hopefully listen

OR

Do an Ouija Board and ask what it wants

My {ex} husband {we get on well now} said that as a young man in a shared house with a couple, they were sitting down to eat dinner after work, and a heavy tape cassette ghetto blaster type thing had come unplugged from the wall and was across the room on the floor- undamaged.

Like it had been thrown.

Other things had happened in that house, too.

One story that really creeped me out was my friend's husband in a rented house {Uni} heard someone come up the stairs of a terraced house they shared.

He was in bed, lights out.

He heard his bedroom door open, and felt a weight as if someone had sat down on the foot end of the bed.
He thought it was his mate mucking about, snapped on the side light and no one was there at all.

Ok then I'll go with my original thought - that you should see your GP. Your posts on this thread are kind of reinforcing that.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

There will be a rational explanation. Perhaps with the phone lurching out your hand, your brain was already anticipating it, so told your hands to just do it unconsciously, in a way it didn't feel like it came from you, even though it was.
