so I'm in no way, shape or form "woo" buuutttt just been sitting on side of my bed texting on my phone and my soundbar for TV (which I've had for 4 years with no issues) just decided to launch itself onto the floor, has hit my foot and cut it, picked it back up thinking how weird 🤷🤷 went back to my phone and a bottle of water, tube of face cream and a lip balm on top of my chest of drawers then launched themselves across the room, pretty freaked out by this point but still being rational in my head, picked phone back up carried on messaging back a friend, looked up to think what I was trying to type and felt a big tap /slap and literally saw my phone fly in the air and land other side of room, trying hard to think rationally but feeling pretty spooked right now

Check around tomorrow the outside of your house. Check for cracks, depressions in the garden. My friend opposite lost her dining room floor, it fell into a stream which was there long before the houses were built. Happened to a few houses on that side of the road. Water does find a way.

I'm certain there is a rational explanation. Several options have been suggested. It may be one of those or something else. But objects do not launch themselves in the air for no reason. Either you were hallucinating or something physical (not spiritual) caused the objects to move.

Stating the obvious but you don't happen to have a cat? Mine loves chucking stuff on the floor.

Failing that I'd go outside with a torch and check for cracks and others signs of subsidence and sink holes.

Has anything else happened since you first posted? Take your dog upstairs and keep it in the room with you. If the dog acts strange, barks at nothing, that will let you know if anything is there

I experienced similar 12 years ago in Cornwall, I was with my then 17 year old son looking at his uni options and we stayed there whilst he visited Plymouth Uni. We woke up at 3am to the sound of someone turning on the light switch in the bathroom, both assuming the sounds were the other one, we opened our bedroom doors which were facing each other across the hallway in this lodge, realising it was neither of us we decided to leave the lodge, on going to the car we walked through the kitchen, every cupboard and drawer was wide open, we turned off the lights and left for the long 4 hour drive back home, as we drove out the lights in the lodge all came on. I thought is possible it could be an intruder but it was a small lodge and I cant see where they could have hidden.

Later I mentioned this in my review of the lodge and the owner said, it was probably the resident ghost! I will never forget that night.
