AIBU to be fed up with all the Keir Starmer threads

It's giving me flashbacks to 2016 when there were about 20 threads a day saying nonsense like, "AIBU to be concerned about the EU's plans to conscript everyone into an EU wide army?"

Just put a sock in it, already.

You clearly have no concept of how diplomacy or soft power works. It’s going to have be kid gloves for the next four years with Trump. Bull in a china shop tactics would be catastrophic.

Thanks. If only you knew how funny this comment is.

It’s not so funny now after this afternoon’s shitshow, is it?

Yawn!…😴

Do you know, I think there are quite a few people - many who claim to be patriots and/or have selective amnesia about the last government - who would rather see Starmer fail, than see the UK and diplomacy succeed. I wonder how they envisage Johnson, Sunak, Truss or Badenoch (or worse still, Farage!) would be handling this?

How many Starmer supporters rowed in behind any Tories?

I once made a comment on here about Johnson having got Ukraine right. Oh no, I was told, he was only doing it for his own glorification. 🙄

Many Labour supporters were very much in agreement with Johnson when he supported Ukraine - as was Starmer, also. It’s been refreshing and encouraging to see cross-party support on this issue in the last few weeks (interesting to see how the comparative quietness of Reform MPs).

Although, having read Johnson’s and Cummings’ recent thoughts and comments on the current Ukraine/Zelensky/Trump situation, I can only reflect on what a sense of relief it is that they are not in power now.

How to say one thing and then the other!

Nope, not at all, actually - two things can be true at the same time.
