That picture of the Southport killer

1000 replies

User09678 · 20/01/2025 17:11

That has been circulating today.

Remember that sweet boy that was in all the reports at the time? The one who looked about nine?

Can anyone think of any other serious criminal who has pictures of them as a child out in the press?

You asked ‘How many Christians download Al quaeda terror books, make ricin and get investigated by anti terror groups then ?’

Well these two far right men downloaded the Al qaeda manual, made devices and targeted mosques and were charged with terror offences.

Do you think these two white men were Muslims? You seem to find it hard to answer a very simple question.

I'm more concerned with who decided to have that trial today to hide it against the inauguration of Trump,
And what the Prime Minister and Home Secretary knew about this evil person, when they knew it and what they decided to tell the public.

I dont agree it was hidden at all. The BBC barely covered Trumps inauguration until about 5pm. The story of the murder was top of the BBC website for the majority of today and even now is on the main page.

I wouldn't worry. It all comes out eventually. The "far right conspiracy theory" to mainstream actual news cycle gets ever shorter

This Lively Swan poster is used to the x dot com far-right bubble where misguided pogrom enthusiasts are lauded as saints. Never get called out on there and if they do they just call you a paedo and block. Basket cases the lot of them.

Unfortunately, somebody bought all the receipts for the evidence and proved it couldn’t have been true. If you can’t explain why they are wrong then maybe you are not as bright as you think you are.

bombastix · 20/01/2025 20:42

@soupfiend he could have been, if he posed a risk to others. And it seems he did. I know this is rare, btw

Im telling you, you cannot even get young people, teens detained under section for posing a huge risk to their own life, let alone others. Its not detainable.

Not read most of the thread and all the fighty stuff, but just pondering on what the hell went wrong with him?!
The pictures of him as a child look like a normal little boy, how did he go from that to some dead-eyed monster who looks like a horror film character?

kansai · 20/01/2025 20:46

Do we know whether the police were called about the previous incidents involving Axel Rudukabana? Would they have known about the Prevent referrals? Did he have a record or case file so to speak?
I suppose this is what the inquiry will find out.

Good grief what ?

Make a baseless allegation about a senior politician and you’d better be prepared to evidence it.

Yes. Trial rescheduled. Have you even notice the massive cunt who is our attorney general? Check out some of the choicest details of Harmer’s career. They wanted to bury it. I imagine he’ll be sentenced as a minor and he’ll be out quite soon.

Edited

he is going to get life as that is the only sentence the UK has for murder, I would assume and hope that in this case it is a whole life order.

He was under 18 when he commited the murders. He can’t be given a whole life order.

localnotail · 20/01/2025 20:38

Look, I know how it works. I had a friend who was exhibiting weird behaviour, we all were thinking its getting freaky and its not going to end up well. My other friend had a chance to talk to his therapist - but the therapist said my mate was OK, and there are no reason for him to be sectioned. Even though he was already arrested twice.

He did not kill anyone, but he did end up in prison, and on very strong medication. It fucked his life up, and he never fully recovered.

What really freaked me out is the total lack of care and support available for people with mental health problems. There was nothing we could have done. You only get noticed if you do something terrible, and you only get treated if you have money.

There should be better help available for people like this, with recourses to investigate, to suggest treatment, to supervise. Like, if someone flags this person up, he stays on the radar. I know it is not a failproof solution, but it better than nothing.

THIS ☝️

A lot of people {usually males} who do these kind of atrocities do show signs beforehand.

Often thought of as ''strange loners'' {I won't name them as don't want to give them any publicity} school shooters & mass killers}

People instinctively don't feel at ease around them- in retrospect they say ''He always was a wrong un.''

Goodness there is some tin foil hat bullshit on this thread.

The judge*, in fixing the trial date, will have had regard to (a) the defendant's custody time limit (b) availability of counsel (both sides) and witnesses and (c) when a trial of the estimated length could be accommodated in the trial calendar. What won't have been thought about for a single second is the inauguration of Donald Trump in the USA.

  • the government doesn't play a part in fixing trial dates.

You don’t think conversations happen behind closed doors? You don’t think soft inducements get offered for dates to fall in a beneficial way? Done at arm’s length, untraceable and deniable. Especially when our PM was DPP and very well connected in legal circles.

Whole life orders are not given to under 21's even if the crime was committed after they were 18.

Recluse who didn’t leave his bedrooom and stayed there watching gruesome violence and content about Rwandan genocide, Genghis Khan and Adolf Hitler all day.

Apologies, yes under 21.

bombastix · 20/01/2025 20:52

@soupfiend I'm not being picky but the power exists, and indeed it's exactly what it's for, to prevent someone with a serious psychiatric disturbance from hurting other people. It is used. My question is really why it wasn't.

You already did this when you alleged that a senior UK politician acting as a lawyer helped settle the Rudakubana family. Maybe report your own post if you’re concerned about the terms of this forum.

EasternStandard · 20/01/2025 20:53

bombastix · 20/01/2025 20:37

No we don't. But to diagnose a serious psychiatric disorder under 18 is rare. And yet in this case, it may prove to be a critical point.

And yet in this case, it may prove to be a critical point.

This is the issue with speculation, people do not know

Without a trial it might not be known at any point
