Dioralyte & Dextro tablets will help with the hangover plus a salty macdonalds & full fat coke!

menopausalfart · 19/01/2025 17:52

Well, that told me straight.

You should pop over to the "how much do you drink" thread, they'll give you great advice!!

RosaMoline · 19/01/2025 17:55

Wind up post. Pathetic. Do you really need to come onto MN to inform everyone you’re drunk?

DeepFatFried · 19/01/2025 17:56

Ooops!

Oh well, I hope the Baby Shower was fun - at least you are not the Mum to be!

OverthinkingOlive · 19/01/2025 17:56

fetchacloth · 19/01/2025 17:39

A bit left field, but is there a chance that you've picked up a bug or had your drink spiked?
Hope you're feeling better soon OP.😊

Yeah maybe someone spiked one of the 27 proseccos she had 🤣

Ofteqq · 19/01/2025 17:56

@RosaMoline nope. Thanks

Ofteqq · 19/01/2025 17:58

I mean not everyone that drinks is lying in a ditch dead some people just have on onr to talk to and that’s me. Sorry guys don’t feel so shocked in your perfect lives

OP posts:
comedycentral · 19/01/2025 17:58

Pint of juice or water, get a shower - not too hot or cold or you could pass out. Grab some toast and get in bed, I imagine the kids are still awake and they don't want to see a drunken mummy.

Mingenious · 19/01/2025 17:59

Stick your fingers down your throat and get it all out then have some toast, a big drink and go to bed.

Really bad advice re making yourself sick. It’s too late as the alcohol is already in your bloodstream and there’s a risk of choking.
Water and bed OP and enjoy reading this thread back in the morning!

MrsSunshine2b · 19/01/2025 18:01

Whoops! We've all been there. If you're out and about now, stock up on supplies for tomorrow- ginger ale, crackers, rehydration tablets.

Try and sip some water. If you're vomiting, take a blanket and a pillow and sleep on the bathroom floor, the cold floor will help you feel better.

You'll feel rotten in the morning but you'll survive!

TheDowagerCountessofPembroke · 19/01/2025 18:02

Do you have to work tomorrow?
Bed and water. Focus on a corner of the room to stop it spinning.

Ofteqq · 19/01/2025 18:02

@LoudRoseGuide in my conserity (that took a long time to type)
