I've fallen down a bit of a rabbit hole lately reading about Bonnie Blue and her mate Lily Phillips.

Both are Only Fans 'stars'. Who've recently gone all over the internet. One for having sex with 100 men in 24 hours and more recently Bonnie Blue for claiming to have broken the world record by having sex with over 1000 men in 12 hours.

I've seen some of their leaked only fans stuff and it's all pretty tame and dull but also quite gross in my opinion. Lots of group sex with multiple masked men who call them slluts and slap their willies in the womens faces while the women pretend to be having the time of their lives.

Lily Philips imo looks particular distressed in some of the videos. Bonnie looks much more detached from it.

Bonnie is also making the news with some of her stunts and derogatory comments about women. All done for click bait I'm sure.

Anyway, onto my aibu.

Even putting aside the very obvious dangers and health risks. Bonnie Blue is now a millionaire. She could probably retire by 30 and be set for life.

I can't decide whether I think she's extremely savvy and smart to be able to do these things but ultimately scone a very rich woman or whether she's deep down very distressed and damaged and will suffer long term.

Do you think you could do any of the things this woman has done if it guaranteed you'd be a millionaire in a few years?

Lol! not in my case, when my DD said to me in an argument that "i didn't know what young people do" ...... i told her there is nothing you could do say or think that either i ve done/seen or heard about.

But i do wish these girls on OnlyFans etc would lead a little more wholesome lives, Lily Phillips trained as a midwife, she dropped out... my Mum was midwife, she said it was the most rewarding job in the world.

Phillips might surprise herself if she stopped and tried something else, before its too late for her, these should be the best years of her life, so i hope she knows whats she is doing to herself.

i think rightly or wrongly some people feel that companies screw them over ££ wise, lets be honest we get sold the usually do your best work hard and youll get £££ and its bull, yes some may find their career rewarding and ill admit i loved my previous role, but when its £££ wise when you see footballers on x amount, or film / tv celebs on x amounts then rightly or wrongly there will be others too that want a slice of the cake and as they say sex sells, and when people realise with eg onlyfans or the industry itself, how much can be made, well then you will get some people that think pickles to it slaving away at tescos, or asda for x hours for pittance when i can do onlyfans and get £££ instead.

The thing is women in porn are disproportionately likely to be damaged to begin with and have had difficult/abusive childhoods.

It's a bit different these days because it's become so normalised to set up an Only Fans account and even the typical girl next door is doing that, but then they've got control over what content they put out. Girls like Bonnie and Lily are just trying to drive attention any way they can to make more money.

I just read this online on The Tab.com (came up on FB). This makes no sense. How can anyone only take 2 x 3 min breaks in 12 hours? The human needs to drink water and go to the toilet every 3-4 hours? Pushing it maybe 6 hours but how did she manage that... drinking water on the way to the WC? I don't like the posts saying she must be mentally ill & needs to be sectioned. She may, or maybe an outlier. Either way, sectioning women for sexual behaviour outside the norm, even though I get that feeling when I read of women using sex to self harm, is a v slippery slope.

An aunt on my dad’s side of family had a baby at 16 back in the 1930’s (I think) and was put into an asylum. She was a maid to a wealthy family and think they had her sectioned to get her out of the way - the son from the family was the father.

She became institutionalised and was never released. She died in the psychiatric hospital in her 60’s after never seen freedom.

It’s very hard to watch someone putting themselves in harms way, but I think you are all correct that she is definitely going to physically injure herself if she does this.
