What on earth is going on with him. Calling for Nagel Farage to resign. Now wanting the PM to resign amd said we have a tyrannical government. It's all a bit odd.

I want to point out that Andrew & Trustan Tate are very much mixed race men. To Whoever thought Musk protected their misogyny just because they aren't brown....facts are that they are not simply white guys.

I can see them.

You can't see reactions on anyone else's posts. To see reactions on Fennel's posts you'd have to be Fennel.

Agree with the binary thinking. It was the same with Brexit. Those who existed only in their cosy echo chambers never saw it coming. It's ideological blinkers and an inability to view complex things from a range of angles and try to understand different viewpoints. As a passionate Remainer, I was disappointed that Labour supported Leave, only the Lib Dems campaigned for Remain. Even though I strongly supported staying in the EU, I still tried to understand the concerns of Leavers, even if I didn’t agree with them.

Labour didn’t support leave. A greater proportion of Labour voters voted remain than of Tory voters. And it was a binary decision - stay or leave.

@FennelPotion if you are talking at the time of the Referendum vote- Labour did not support leave at all - the fact they had some MPs of that tendency including I think Corbyn does not mean they actively supported leave - just as many Tory MPs and indeed the gvt position supported Remain .the fact most remain MPs subsequently left or were deselected etc is often forgotten in the Tory's rush to try and get the Reformvote

No she isn’t “nice” and “doing her best” which implies her best isn’t good enough. She’s a strong feminist politician who has supported and fought for vulnerable women all her adult life and she deserves better than damning with faint praise and patronising condescension. We don’t live in a binary world.

so why all your binary questions to me if you don’t think the world is binary?

I think she is nice, I used to live very close to her constituency. You can be nice and a strong feminist - or are you suggesting all strong feminists are not nice. I think being nice is more important than a viewpoint.

I'm not sure what she is doing is good enough, I don’t agree with her decision or the basis on which she made the decision, if I thought what she was doing was good enough I would agree with her. However, I believe she thinks she is doing right, and is therefore trying her best. Surely it’s not that difficult to unravel.

No but I can see them on my posts. Is it really that difficult?

The only person who can see them is you by the way.

If Jess Phillips can rise above 'rape genocide apologist' perhaps you can try your best to ignore the laughing face emoji?

Or report to MNHQ, of course.

Oh noblegiraffe.

Why should I report it? I prefer to point, out on the thread that it's puerile and designed to ridicule and undermine genuine discussions. I have made not a single comment on whether Jess Phillips can rise above 'rape genocide apologist' So much hypocrisy here. Plus ca change.

The only person who can see them is you by the way. Isn't that obvious?

No I really feel told.

Never mind.

Love how you edited that post when you realised it wasn't patronising.

Crikeyalmighty · 07/01/2025 22:27

Whatever you think about Jess Phillips - her previous career was managing a woman's refuge- I think she knows far more about abused women in poor positions than those pontificating on it from high and has worked tirelessly on it for many years-

That is a nice but futile try to rewrite history.

I haven’t asked you any questions, binary or otherwise.

She’s not nice, she’d be incredibly vicious if you got n the wrong side of her I imagine. Certainly her acceptance speech indicates that. And nice is a horrible, tepid condescending term. What she’s doing is a hell of a lot better than most of us, if I’d achieved half that she has I’d be proud of myself.

Fizzygoo · 07/01/2025 22:28

Can anyone enlighten me I’m out the loop…

a few people have mentioned ketamine, is this not a sedative type medicine? So if he’s having manic episodes (where he is saying outrageous things) is he dosing to reduce these episodes or is this a side effect?

Labour did not support Leave. That’s a fact. You know the red wall collapsed because of it? Because they felt they hadn’t been listened to by Labour about it?

I'm trying to say that you realised you'd missed an opportunity for twatty goading and went back and changed that. Because you cared that you'd missed it.
