Aibu to suggest you should delete it even if it's not currently being used.

It occurred to me today that whilst I no longer use it, just the act of having an account supports Elon Musk's world view which I do not share!!! (Understatement. Todays outburst against one of his few supporters in Europe made me think I need to act in this small way, if hundreds of thousands, millions also think along the same lines we can send a message (he won't hear but can but try)

The only people I have ever tweeted to is the water company and Tesco but I keep my account because I may need it in the future for stuff like this, I use a one off Apple email for it so it wouldn't matter if it was suspended, probably from lack of use, rather than anything else.

How do you deactivate it?

I have an X account. I am rather enjoying Musk being a cat amongst the pigeons of the world.

But then I pretty much gave up on humanity about 10 years ago and think we are all fucked.

My only regret is I had kids before I realised just how fucking stupid 90% of humans were.

But there is no point fighting, too vastly outnumbered, so fuck it, at this point I am just enjoying the show.
