Mine are relationship dilemmas (where the obvious answer isnt just to ltb) , sex and dating dilemmas, and gossip/tea spilling

More of those in 2025 please 🤭 x

My life is very uneventful, just revolves around my dd and my cat 😄 so I'm living vicariously through you all

The litter tray is my favourite board. Can indulge my inner cat lady.

DogInATent · 04/01/2025 15:07

The ones with punctuation and paragraphs.

EmpressaurusKitty · 04/01/2025 15:07

I like the parking ones & the ones where there’s an actual dilemma.

My least favourites are the ones where there’s no actual AIBU & people are just framing their questions that way for the traffic.

Onlyhereforthebatshitneighbours · 04/01/2025 15:14

The ones about batshit neighbours

My faves are always spaced out properly, just can't deal with a wall of text

Yeah a good dilemma is important - or, for me, just a good bit of gossip

I'm so nosy

Paying for seats on a plane.
no idea why, they just seem to fascinate me.

I have not be in a plane for 40 years

I like the ones where the poster is being unreasonable, everyone agrees they’re unreasonable, yet the poster isn’t willing to accept it. I’m always impressed by the wild drip feeding and lack of self awareness.

ohyesido · 04/01/2025 16:22

I like the ones where the OP is completely unreasonable but lacks self awareness

Lifestooshort71 · 04/01/2025 16:24

I like the ones that go off piste and descend into a cesspit of accusations and bad-tempered responses. What fun.

Grannyinnwaiting · 04/01/2025 16:38

I like MIL threads and unreasonable behaviour by precious first time mothers

😄🤭 I do suspect i was a bit of a precious first time mum

Although my family did dislike me so I don't think I was so unreasonable

I dont mins a mil thread but I'm one of those who enjoys a good man bashing 😬. Dunno why I'm single

I like a good batshit neughbour one too. There was a great Royston Vesey-esque thread a while ago about the neighbour being the village vicar who abused his chickens. Just in a neglectful way, there was no suggestion that he had unnatural passions.

I really wanted it to go full Hot Fuzz and the vicar to be found flapping around in red robes in the back garden at midnight under a full moon performing animal sacrifices to Satan.

CaptainBeanThief · 04/01/2025 16:55

The ones that completely backfire on the OP 😏

Stickortwigs · 04/01/2025 17:14

CF ones. I’d like to see a CF dedicated board.

DogInATent · 04/01/2025 17:19

Any thread that can't be summarised very quickly as Adults Not Adulting. But I appreciate that it's the ANA threads that provide the baseload of traffic to the site.

Upstartled · 04/01/2025 17:20

The ones when people say they are skint on £70 million and everyone piles on to either a) berate them for their spendy nature or b) flexes by offering them sympathy that they find it hard too.

Another vote for a CF board. Preferably with a subsection on splitting the bill.

Lammveg · 04/01/2025 17:23

The ones about something incredibly minor that happened 23 years ago

unsync · 04/01/2025 17:25

Any one where I read the title and straight away I think yes, of course you ABU. As PPs have said, the total lack of self awareness and unwillingness to acknowledge how wrong they actually are. Some people are just batshit, how do they not realise?

ohyesido · 04/01/2025 17:28

I must admit I enjoy a useless DH post

I really enjoy reading these sort of threads 😅

Raindropskeepfallinonmyhead · 04/01/2025 17:29

I love a teacher/school bashing thread one - it never ceases to amaze me how parents think their child is the only one the staff have to deal with!

GRCP · 04/01/2025 17:30

I like the CF ones - particularly if there are live updates which form a kind of narrative.

Yerroblemom1923 · 04/01/2025 17:32

The comedy ones where something is clearly lost in translation. That and all the interesting ones that always get deleted.
