Inspired by the other long running thread. I keep reading that he tweets and retweets racist comments. Can anyone link any or all of them please? I see tweets over illegal immigration, as opposed to immigration, but not racist?

So instead of opinions please can people post the actual words used or retweeted? Or anything he said in interviews, word for word?

Ah yes, pretty much as I was saying -extremism exists on both sides, unfortunately we are moving more to a situation where people are gravitating more to the extremes. We should not try and deal with one extreme and not the other as they are interlinked.

Elon’s move to adopting a more right wing stance including racism is widely believed to be a reaction to one of his kids becoming trans. So a response to what he also perceives as woke on the left. Just a shame he’s swung so far the other way. Or maybe he just used to hide it better before.

Woke is entirely an insult that is the property of the Right. When they don't have an argument to present, they whine 'woke' and point fingers until someone is irritated enough to respond and the tiresome cycle of 'you, no you' starts again. Infantile.

My observation was that the left went so batshit crazy that was the only other option available. Many of my leftie friends voted for Trump, something they never in a million years thought they would do.

Seems slightly crazy. I’m no expert on usa politics but the democrats have always struck me as quite centrist verging towards conservative No USA party seems to be left wing.

What I do hear is that a few lefties, or at least peaceniks, (not people I know personally) voted for Trump because they thought he was so isolationist that he'd be less likely to try and involve America in 'foreign wars'. Of course, no sooner does he get elected, than he starts trying to claim Greenland, and to get Canada to be the 51st state.

Demacrates in general r not considered left at all if compared to uk politics or world, they seem definitely more Conservatives our right, so yes definitely a wow worthy! It's not surprising as it's calls for the whole "what about the children" or other " think of the children" , in america its seems the right push the narrative that trans people are dangerous and predatory, it's emotive to try and pull at people's heart strings, in my opinion parts of american right seem to be quite obsession with idea of sex trafficking (see tim ballard!) Like they need to protect the children! Deep rooted in religion and saviours)I mean their isn't much u can defend on musk and racism it's all out there! So they need to cling to something! Do you think it is extreme left to want some form of guaranteed public healhcare? To object to kids being too frequently gunned down in school? To object to the actions of groups like the Proud Boys? To object to women having their reproductive rights taken away?

Why don't you consider a government that is so obsessed with sterilising gay kids to be far right or utterly batshit? Instead of deflecting yourself, just explain what is not batshit about that policy.

I don't need government to explain what a woman is; I know who I am. I just need government to refrain from discriminating against me or oppressing me because I'm a woman, or indeed for any other reason.

I don't know of any government that is obsessed with sterilizing gay kids.
