There has always been questions around foreign interference. Should our newspapers be owned by non-Uk companies, for example, used to come up continuously.

The difference here is that Musk and X are completely outside our control and therefore he can say what he wants and get away with it. I've looked at his comments today and I agree that they are really incendiary. Very few are outright lies though, he's quite clever like that, sadly.

Leaders of the opposition have historically done very little to pressure any government into any kind of action. It’s usually celebs like footballers or chefs that pressure the government to really change.
