To call things off because of the way he dresses?

I work in a healthcare so wear a uniform, man I've been on a couple of dates on often works in my department and is always in scrubs.

The way he dresses, really gives me the ick. I was so attracted to him before, but now I've seen him outside of work in his own clothes j barely am.

We haven't slept together yet.

Should I just get over this? I don't know how!

So, I know this won't be an ick for a lot of people here. I think it may be generational, as he is a decade older than me.

Skinny jeans, fluorescent coloured boxers, all white Ted baker trainers. They're the worst parts for me.

I don’t think you’re shallow. I don’t think it’s really about what he’s wearing it’s about how that might reflect his attitudes and interests and how they might not chime other your own, I’d leave it OP.

I think ideally you want a partner to have at least broadly similar tastes in music, films, decor etc. There’s a reason you don’t see too many goths going out with people who wear tracksuits 24/7! If you hate his clothing it’s an indicator your tastes aren’t compatible.

Also, perfectly reasonable not to fancy a man in skinny jeans! Few could 😜
