When people talk of the threat of a man in women’s spaces, I assume the danger is because of their penis.

So if that’s gone then should they be categorised as a woman?

What if we want to define ourselves as female people, a category which does not include any male people, and we want to have a word for that? Are you seriously saying we shouldn't be allowed to, because it will make trans women feel sad?

Including Trans women within the definition of the word women has no bearing on my existence whatsoever, or yours, or the existence of any other woman.

Female people will always continue to exist, as a group which does not and will never include any male people.

Including male people within the definition of women simply means that the word "women" now just means "some people", and we no longer have a word for the specific kind of people that we are.

Well I think the studies posted upthread don't show there is any clear evidence that a male with a transgender identity has a brain that is structured differently to any other male person who would have the same interests and take the same drug regimen. Nor does the statistics and study show that a male person with a transgender identity has a lower risk of committing a sex crime than any other UK male person (who may receive the exact same level of mental health care as that male with a transgender identity).

So, I too am keen to see these differences.
