AIBU to feel completely distressed by the viral video of the aftermath of onlyfans worker Lily P 'sleeping with' 100 men?

MumOfOneAllAlone · 11/12/2024 09:48

I've tried to word this carefully.

Lily, an onlyfans star, aged 20something I'm guessing, slept with 100 men in one go, as part of a documentary.

Following this, she's on camera crying. She says her eyes hurt as some of the men ejaculated in them, despite her saying no.

My heart is broken for this girl. Im a feminist but I've never thought of sex work as being empowering?

Surely, the empowerment of sex work has failed this poor girl? And surely the 100 men who agreed to do this are criminals???

I'm so angry. You could see in the video that Lily is realising what a mistake this was and is very traumatised.

Anyway, didn't see a thread on this so thought I'd post. My heart goes out to her, and my brain feels very angry at those who failed to protect her.

It’s awful, she’s clearly very damaged, etc, but what the hell did she think was going to happen? She is, as other people have pointed out, an adult. Who is supposed to be protecting her from herself, and at what point will it be her own responsibility, if not now?

Whathappensnowplease · 11/12/2024 13:02

SilverDoe · 11/12/2024 12:36

That's not the point I made though is it.

I'm not disagreeing with your paragraph here, but that's a completely different line to perpetuating the notion that women who engage in consensual sexual acts, are allowing, or should expect, men to sexually assault them by performing non consensual acts, is absolutely not okay, and is a shameful take for a feminist.

Well you are right women shouldn't be sexually assaulted by men.

But I think whilst women in theory should have the right to expect not to be sexually assaulted I have always lived my life taking sensible precautions for my own safety. I.e not to put myself in unnecessarily dangerous situations because people don't stick to the rules.

This woman put herself in a risky situation. And if she expected the type of people who would participate in such a stunt to be decent, respectful men then she was more than naive. She was actually ridiculous.

I think women have a degree of responsibility to look after their own safety. Yes the men were wrong. But she knowingly put herself in a risky situation.

Lentilweaver · 11/12/2024 13:02

It's just so grim the way this is becoming normalized as a career choice. I saw the other day that Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards' daughter has become an Only Fans "creator".

Like other posters, I care deeply about a pornsick society.

MumOfOneAllAlone · 11/12/2024 13:03

ChubbyBubbyBoo · 11/12/2024 12:25

Tbh I’m a little in awe of her. I wish I’d done something similar when I was younger and made millions. I feel like I put myself an almost as bad situations anyway without the pay day!

I feel like when you've survived abuse/assault its very easy to think like this (myself included)

The number of people who've got nonsense to spout about me, I might as well have taken control and made money from it.

Is it healthy that i recognise that or warped, I don't even know. But that's what makes me think that lily is a victim.

I've just googled her and I think she's the same one who likes to take the virginity of 18 year old boys in exchange for filming it and posting it online. I think she's also a groomer and exploiter of very young adults. She's got a very warped way of thinking anyway.

its not the same girl, the one you’re thinking about is Bonnie Blue.

FeegleFrenzy · 11/12/2024 13:05

Okbyethen · 11/12/2024 10:38

She's a grown woman and she made her choice.

She obviously knows now it was a massive mistake and I'm sure will suffer the consequences.

She's an idiot.

This. Who failed to protect her? Shes an adult, made her own choices. She hasn’t been trafficked, etc. I’d like to think her parents told her not to do it but guessing she didn’t listen to them 🤷‍♀️. Can’t say I have much sympathy for her. Wouldn’t be surprised if any “traumatised “ interview is just a further attempt to get more publicity. Guess she wants to be an influencer/z list sleb.

SocksAndTheCity · 11/12/2024 13:05

I don't know if you've ever got semen in your eye @MumOfOneAllAlone , but it fucking hurts.

I once signed up for an insane amount of overtime which resulted in me working something like four pretty physical twelve hour shifts in three days (I don't jnow that it would be legal now). By the end of it I was practically crawling on my knees with exhaustion, starving hungry and dizzy from sleep deprivation - there was certainly crying afterwards. I was paid (far less than the woman in this thread), I slept for a long time and felt fine in a day or two.

More importantly, however much I loathed it at the time, I chose to do it and made that choice entirely of my own volition. I doubt anybody here would question that for a moment, because as my knickers remained on throughout this was a perfecly OK thing to choose to do.

So in summary: doing something extremely physically and mentally draining (but not sex) for cash = fine

Doing something extremely physically and mentally draining that involves sex for cash = EW NO THAT'S ICKY AND SHE MUST BE MENTAL

OK then.

Floofboopsnootandbork · 11/12/2024 13:06

Is she not now planning to do it with 1000 or is that a different women? Gosh… how many young girls are doing this now?

YouveGotAFastCar · 11/12/2024 13:07

LookingForAHandHold · 11/12/2024 10:29

I think that's a different one, called Bonnie

There's a casting call out for Lily too; she's aiming to do it in January '25 to "achieve" the 1000 men in 24 hours goal before Bonnie.

MumOfOneAllAlone · 11/12/2024 13:08

Jellycats4life · 11/12/2024 12:50

I think Lily is being paid by OF to groom young women into sex work.

Bingo. This is definitely happening.

I’ve lost count how many clickbait articles I’ve read about women making five or six figure sums per month on OF. There is no doubt in my mind that it’s a blatant attempt to normalise OF as a career choice.

Even celebrities like Lily Allen and (OK, not so much of a celebrity) Kate Nash talking recently about making money from supposedly tame things like photos of feet and photos of bums. Then the more tawdry celebs like Katie Price, Daniella Westbrook and Kerry Katona doing nudes and god knows what else.

It’s marketing.

Completely agree with this and it's so harmful to girls

It does seem as if only fans is being normalised as a career choice🙁
Surely the more women that do it the smaller the revenue will be for each of them?

Or will there be a few outliers who earn large sums whilst most make very little but the outliers and publicising thereof will be enough to draw in more people?

You have it exactly right.

As far as I understand, it’s very difficult to make money on OF and the ones making big bucks are not only outliers, but being very dishonest about the acts they’re performing on camera in order to earn such vast amounts. It goes way beyond nude photos but the articles you see never allude to that.

I imagine being penetrated non stop for 14 hours fucking hurts too. My eyes would be the least of my concern if I were her.
And yeah fucking 100 men in 14 hours is not remotely the same as you working four nursing shifts back to back or whatever. HTH.

NewBootsWeather · 11/12/2024 12:55

@MumOfOneAllAlone have you seen any other clips of her and Bonnie Blue? There are lots done after the event and she is just planning more and is certainly not coming across as traumatised.

I admit I haven't but I wouldn't believe anything other than that she's a victim. The polished behaviour we see on camera isn't who someone is. For me the aftermath with the tears came across as so genuine and hard to fake.

OP posts:
PinkLionFind · 11/12/2024 13:11

MumOfOneAllAlone

Thanks for the link.

After watching the documentary I am so sad for her.

She actually comes across as very naive and easily manipulated - the men were apparently guilt tripping her for only having 5 minutes for sex which she then felt bad about.

Her ‘friends’ had no concern for her well-being

I think young women have been sold this fantasy that sex work is empowering, but the men always have the power and she is putting herself in a very vulnerable position.

it doesn’t sound like she has a good family behind her and apparently her dad’s friends message her.

So a lot of people taking advantage.

I hope she gets out of this hell. I seriously worry about her and her health.

it’s easy to judge her and her ‘morals’ but she appears to me as a young girl without good guidance or support in a very dangerous situation.

LookingForAHandHold · 11/12/2024 13:13

@MumOfOneAllAlone why post this thread if you're never going to believe she might not be a victim?

MumOfOneAllAlone · 11/12/2024 13:13

Startinganew32 · 11/12/2024 12:56

So would you detain her indefinitely then? Because surely she’d start again as soon as she was let out?

But that's true of anyone. If i could I'd have people who love her insist she be sectioned and diagnosed with a plan in place to help her.

How you can say that doing overtime at work, no matter how difficult or tiring, is remotely equivalent to having one hundred strangers stick their penises inside you and ejaculate into your eyes without consent is beyond me 😂

I’ve seen this before. Oh, how dare you criticise sex work! Surely it’s better than working in McDonalds or in a tedious office job for a pittance!

Nah. Not having it.

You are only seeing half of it.

I think Bonnie Blue is the most arrogant but Lily is not far behind.

You could say the same about Ariana Grande right now, though, couldn't you?

Without wanting to start a debate about health or body shape, she's clearly lost a lot of weight very quickly, and before she was famous, her Snapchat and Tumblr were dedicated to what can only be considered very, very disrupted eating, if not an eating disorder. She had a pretty big audience of people who followed her to see the shocking amount she had eaten each day. She seemed to get better, and now for whatever reason, she seems to have got worse again. She does not look happy or healthy in any way. She's surrounded by people too.

It's an unfortunate downside of a very content driven, fame driven society that we're now watching people publicly break down, but there's little that can be done. At what point does observing someone make you party to it? If you've watched Lily's documentary, have you supported what she's done?

Safirexx · 11/12/2024 13:19

According to the article in the London Metro this morning, she wants to do it again with 1,000 men in 24 hours. If that's really true, then, much as I would like to sympathise with her I think it will be wasted emotion on my part. She looked dreadful in the video excerpt, but it looks like she considers it par for the course regarding the choices she's made. She's quoted as being proud that she has been able to pay for her parents to go on luxury holidays, so I guess there's no chance that anyone with any actual responsibility for her will stage an intervention and stop her for her own good. It's incredible that we can't find 100 men who respect women enough to say, no, I won't do this even though you're asking me to. Gisele Pelicot in reverse. The world is upside down.

Okay so apologies I should clarify my earlier comment that they ejaculated in her eyes - according to some tweets, they ejaculated on her face and it went in her eyes

Also here's a second video where she says she disassociated. This for me isn't a woman who was well enough to consent to this, sorry

https://x.com/TonyL_01/status/1866781388503908544?t=LS9QqQQ_H3A61CFNOMyxHw&s=19

It's heartbreaking to see her expressing guilt about hurting the feelings of men who used her as a sex toy. On the other hand is she presenting herself in that way because she knows that will earn her more money?

Startinganew32 · 11/12/2024 10:08

I’m not going to lose any sleep over her trauma from having cum in her eyes after she willingly shagged 100 men one after the other. She’s grim. I have sympathy for women who have no other option but to turn to prostitution, some of whom are raped and beaten by pimps and clients. Not idiots like this.

This. She, nor her mate who does similar, is not the victim here. Why do you feel sorry for her? She comes from a stable middle class background and had every advantage in life. This is totally her choice, egged on by her family.

She is vile and I will reserve my sympathy for women forced into the sex trade

SocksAndTheCity · 11/12/2024 13:21

No it's not @Startinganew32 , and for the reasons in my post.

One is viewed as OK and the other is not, for reasons which make no practical sense whatsoever beyond that some people feel that having sex with somebody for money is different to doing their hair, digging their garden or taking their tonsils out. That's all fine, but not everyone shares that view.

If those people don't want to do it then they don't have to (and I don't want to kill people or animals for money, so I didn't join the army or get a job in an abbatoir), but they don't get to decide they're superior to people who have no such qualms.

Lentilweaver · 11/12/2024 13:22

I don't know who is the victim. Not clicked on any links to read about this gross story. But I am very concerned about Only Fans and the pornification of society in general.
