Watched Colleen Rooney in the jungle and now rewatching the wagatha thing on itv2, she just comes across so well, I actually love the background story and wonder even though they have all this money, I wonder if they ever crave those simple days of being 16 before it all kicked off. Just very normal people.
She seems so strong, classy, kind, just a morally good person really.

I even don’t mind him, you can see he’s besotted with her, yes he made huge mistakes, but she could very easily be without him, I think they’re probably pretty strong together.

She said it was so thing just for her. She is always wife/mum, so that was just Coleen.

I suspect she wanted to show everyone that she really isn't the person RV tries to make out as well.

I love her too. Seems a great girl who could’ve had a good career but got engaged young to a rich man so 🤷🏻‍♀️ & loads of women don’t leave partners who cheat.

@HRTQueen They’ve been together since they were 16, 4 kids together, life isn’t that simple. It’s not excusable at all, but he was drunk, young from a working class background with all this money and girls probably being thrown at him. I wouldn’t have been able to forgive, but the issue of four kids together etc…it must have been hard.

I don't watch I'm a Celebrity, but I did watch the Wagatha series. She's obviously not daft, except when it comes to her terrible choice in men! But I guess divorce would impact that lifestyle a fair bit, and they've been together such a long time as well, she's invested the best years of her life in that cheating, dirty ratbag. Shame she didn't put the brains to better use really. Without his football career he wouldn't have had a chance with a smart and attractive woman like her!

I can see why after the Vardy court case, and a high profile life married to someone famous, you might want to do something that allowed people to see you as a person in your own right.

She did talk about this in the jungle … yep he cheated on her with sex workers, it was 20 years ago, they worked through it, and are happily married with 4 children.

She chose to forgive him, it doesn’t make her pathetic or weak.

@FormerlyPathologicallyHappy Yes, she seems fairly clever, her mum said she was a grade A student, four kids is a lot, if I could I wouldn’t work and would be at home!

@colesr she said they’d kept chasing her for years & she finally relented. We can all see she’s a good egg re: VV, etc & cynical me wonders if just the cash for her. Why not donate all to charities she supports? Who knows, perhaps she quietly will.

Isn't she "just" a normal woman who has a lot of kids, enough to stay home with them and a devoted mum. She has a good insight into her husband's weaknesses and still loves him. I think she's religious too?

I think she seems lovely. And bright. I think she is a role model.

No wonder she wanted to do something for herself.

When was he caught again

She seemed pretty dull to me. Really ordinary. Better that than an arsehole like Vardy seems to be but I don't really get the gushing about her.

I think she's a very intelligent woman who wants a career. Her kids are growing or grown and she wants to be more than his wife and their mum.

I see this as a launch for a TV career and I say good on her.

She does donate to charities. Especially the one her sister was connected to when she was alive.

I thought she came across as a real gem in the jungle. I don’t think she’s stupid, it’s a shrewd move to go on (she’s rich enough, doesn’t need the money) but I think she wants to do something that isn’t just being a mum, isn’t just being a wife and this is a way to launch that.

Isn't that part of what's likeable about her!? She had millions in the bank account, a humongous mansion, has dined in the white house.... but is completely normal! Not snooty or snobby or bitchy or pretentious...

I wouldn't describe her as dull though.

She seems nice enough. But nothing to aspire to. Famous purely because of her husband who has repeatedly cheated on her. I’m not sure what her career could be as she doesn’t seem to have much of a personality.

Plus I judge her on those kids’ names.
