DH wouldn't dance to our special song

Last night, at a bday party, our special song comes on. We are standing in a group, I look at DH with my most alluring face, say "our special song, let's dance", but he didn't respond. It was humiliating.

Has anyone else ever experienced such rejection and what do you think should do now?

Some people HATE dancing in public.

Alluring face, special song or not, I won't dance in public and would start a thread on AIBU if somebody expected me to.

I've been with my DH since July 2006, married since November 2016, in all that time he has danced with me once! We don't actually have an 'our song', but even if we did he still wouldn't dance with me.

So do a lot of the posters replying to her.

In this instance, the 'thanks' button actually means 🤢!!

I imagine you were probably being irritating and he's quite entitled to not do something he doesn't want to do.
