That's absolute nonsense. Plenty of 50+ women look younger than their years, as do some 60+, 70+ etc...

I look younger than I am in my early 60s. I know this because (a) I have a mirror, (b) because so did my mother and my grandmother and I have inherited their good skin, (c) because people seem genuinely shocked when they find out my age, and I have a good bullshit radar, and (d) people tell me who I know aren't bullshitting me. I am lazy about skincare, I have to admit! Cleanser and toner are about it!

You don't want to look like mutton dressed as lamb, but not dressing 'old' has a massive impact on how old you look. Hair and makeup are also important. I am lucky not to have any greys yet, but I refuse to go grey anyway because I think it would just drain me with my skin colouring!

I'm never going to look 30 or 40 but I'm good with people thinking I am still in my 50s!

I thought she was a bit older than that. I guess she was famous in her late teens? She looks good but why wouldn't a healthy woman with a reasonable income, who works in the public eye look good at 40? Most regular 40 yo women nowadays look great. And usually several years 'younger' looks wise.

This! I don't feel invisible at all. Quite the opposite in fact!

Gemma A is an absolute force of a woman. Aside from being stunningly beautiful (regardless of her age), she works out regularly and follows a very healthy - but certainly not restrictive - diet. But it's certainly not all 'surface': she's kind, considerate, very down to earth and has a solid moral compass. This is all alongside having a radio job plus looking after a house, two kids and a dog! She's quite the inspiration.

Both Gemma and Gorka were single when they met on Strictly in 2017, so it's hardly a 'curse'. They've been together since then and now have two children.
