I jotted down some notes for my husband and he said I write like a doctor 😂

Aibu to say he is wrong and my handwriting is fine. (Also, anyone want to show theirs?)

YANBU - he's wrong.
YABU - he's not right.

No that was not a mistake.

Its like mine, not the best, not the worst. But legible

SilverChampagne · 07/11/2024 11:29

He’s not wrong…

Seeline · 07/11/2024 11:29

Well I can read that, but I knew what it said IYSWIM

Post some notes or something that we will actually need to read.

Then we can tell you that your DH is wrong.

JollyPinkFox · 07/11/2024 11:29

Wouldn't want to marking an exam written in this handwriting if I'm honest

Quitelikeit · 07/11/2024 11:29

It requires a bit of concentration- I couldn’t bother about this at all 🤣🤣

shellyleppard · 07/11/2024 11:29

I can read it easily..... probably cos that was the warm up exercise in typing lessons in the 80's!!! 😉

Sparxdislike · 07/11/2024 11:30

Took me a couple of attempts to read. Sorry to agree with your DH 🙈

CeffylCoch · 07/11/2024 11:30

I wouldn't say its clear. I can read it because I know the saying, otherwise I wouldn't recognize the word 'jump' in particular

ZeroFucksGivenToday · 07/11/2024 11:31

Agree with your husband. I knew what it was supposed to say after a couple of attempts and still can't quite make it out.

LoquaciousPineapple · 07/11/2024 11:31

If I didn't already know the phrase you were writing, it would have taken me a while to decode it. I definitely wouldn't say it's easily legible, some words (fox and jumps) are completely illegible to me and others I wouldn't be certain about.

Godoit · 07/11/2024 11:32

Hes correct

SallyForf · 07/11/2024 11:32

Tbh if I didn't know the phrase I would have been stuck on fox, jumps, dog.

MereDintofPandiculation · 07/11/2024 11:33

Yes, a well known phrase is easy to read. But when I go word by word, I see that as
Che quiele Brain Pers junps over the lazy day.
So I imagine if he were reading something where there isn't much context, he would find it very hard to read.

He's clearly wrong. It obviously says, "Che quick brain poo scenes oven the lucy dey".

sunbum · 07/11/2024 11:35

Hes not wrong. I have to try to read that. Clearer handwriting I would just glance at and immediatley know what it said.

He's right.

Godoit · 07/11/2024 11:36

It's horrendous.

DancingNotDrowning · 07/11/2024 11:37

I agree with your DH.

i can read it because I know what is supposed to say

brown = Braun

dog = day

fox = lap or fax

over, lazy and jump without context are illegible

MereDintofPandiculation · 07/11/2024 11:37

I still can't work out the word after "deformation". I can guess activation from context, but I haven't been able to match it letter by letter to what you have written. I'm still with your DH.

Marblesbackagain · 07/11/2024 11:37

Sorry @Goody2ShoesAndTheFilthyBeast it's only legible because I know what it is meant to say.

Attelina · 07/11/2024 11:38

Just write in capitals when you're leaving a note for your husband.

Ameliasvocalfry · 07/11/2024 11:39

I'm with your husband here, sorry. Your handwriting is very hard to read.
