I can’t edit another picture in, but I’d forgot to add the missing poster I think has been created by friends and is on twitter etc , it has another very clear picture of her face, details of her height etc.

I was travelling loads & would have been apoplectic at being reported 'missing' after such a short time.

Not as apoplectic as you'd be if you'd been abducted and held prisoner and no-one bothered to raise the alarm for the first 72 hours but you were raped or murdered on hour 55.

The police get masses of Missing Persons reports every day from worried family members or partners. Usually they are drunken husbands who've passed out or fallen asleep somewhere, or people who've had a row with their parents or partner and stormed off and gone AWOL to teach them a lesson, or just to clear their heads for a bit. They can't possibly react to every report and the vast majority of the time they are right not to. It's a massive and unnecessary waste of their time.

So if they react like this after only 48 hours it's because they have enough information to make them extremely concerned for her safety.

it seems strange the police (& everyone else) is saying she's 'missing' so soon, she's a young woman, but a proper adult, not an 18yo 'adult' at her age I was travelling loads & would have been apoplectic at being reported 'missing' after such a short time.

Was her boyfriend with her at her friends B&B?

why was she leaving a B&B at 2:30 am to go home?

Was the car she got in a friends or an Uber?

sorry more questions than answers 🥲

I so hope she turns up soon.

Edited

I'm a proper adult, much older than Sarah. But if I didn't turn up as expected and my friends and family didn't know why, I'd very much hope they'd report it ASAP. Every hour matters and it's really dangerous to suggest that 'proper adults' don't need attention until after an arbitrary time that would have been appropriate in your case. Much better a woman turn up safe and 'apoplectic' than fail to raise the alert on unexpected/absence. I wish the police acted sooner when people say 'she wouldn't do that'.

@Craftymam

Someone in that house knows. There’s no other reason you ring the boyfriend as opposed the police.

If there was no row before hand, why did she walk out of the house with no phone, keys or coat and why didn't anyone query it at the time?

I'm assuming they did query it and that's why they rang her boyfriend to check she'd got home

zingally · 04/11/2024 09:31

It does seem strange that the police have got so heavily involved so soon. After all, this is an adult-adult, not an 18 year old girl.
I suspect there is something they're not saying about her that they know would cause her to be vulnerable.
I hope she turns up safe very soon.

Ive been following that case as I have family& friends in Bristol

it’s interesting how this has already so much publicity and the police are already doing appeals when in Jacks case they have been absolutely shit and most of it been left to the parents and family to raise public awareness

Jack told his mum he was getting a taxi home
and never got home ids been 8 months this weekend

police think he fell into the water

yet his phone was pinged at least 5 -10 min walk away from any water and he’s never been seen since
like Sarah it was out of character of him and he was trying to find a taxi to get home

the family have had huge support from local papers and people

but the police have been absolutely shit and have had a complaint made against them by the family as they refused to release certain information with regards to jacks phone and failed to spot Jack in cctv and didn’t get cctv that could have helped
His mum found cctv that showed him nowhere near the water ( police missed this )

Thousands of people & local press pressured EE recently to release phone data which the police wouldn’t release despite the phone actually belonging to jacks mum Catherine

It's so sad about Jack, his family having to push and spend emotional energy and resources doing what the police should have done is awful. Same with Leah Croucher, they wasted time presuming all sorts and missed a lot of key evidence and info and she was later found in someone's attic when they'd seemed fairly sure she just disappeared into thin air of her own accord.

jessycake · 04/11/2024 09:47

If anyone goes missing and it's out of character , the response should be rapid , most people know the personality of someone close and whether they are a free spirit . There are so many occasions where the police miss clues because they waited too long .

Upperroom · 04/11/2024 09:48

Bumping
praying for Sarah’s return 🙏🏻

There's an update on reddit and it's not a good one. I don't know the validity of it, so I won't share the update or details. It was shared 34 minutes ago.

Exactly

A lot of the time police presume and assume stuff and it’s ah easy box ticking job - when it’s clear the the person would never just up and go and leave there family and home in this way

in some case the persons has done this before ot is known to be having mental health issues so this is taken into account .

but in the case of Jack he told his mum he was trying to get a taxi so his intention was to come home only a few hours before
his phone ( find my phone ) was pinged at least 5 -10 mins away from any water but they haven’t found his phone or anything since

then absolutely nothing and it’s been 8 months this weekend
the police have been terrible as well refusing the family access to data on Catherine’s phone which Jack had
ids only because of huge public pressure on EE recently via a Facebook campaign to the CEO that the family got the data they needed

Hi all. I hope you can see this. Unfortunately Sarah has passed away and was found at a tube station during the night. I don’t know anymore details as of yet. As you can understand we are all totally distraught. I thought it would be fitting the people who have shown good will on here should know. Stay safe everyone out there and please please take care of your loved ones with all your strength. Sarah was a complete angel and a one of a kind person. She had the heart of a true genuine spirit who loved the world and everyone in it. Sending love to anyone touched by this. Thank you for all your support over the last couple of days. X

It looks as though her friends have updated but I'm really hoping it's not real as it's not showing on the news websites yet

It sounds like she knows Sarah in real life?

SwanRivers · 04/11/2024 10:05

I've reported that post (which is copied and pasted from Reddit).

Waiting for something official.

DearRussell · 04/11/2024 10:05

I think it’s real and such a sad outcome

I’m so sorry for your loss. You’ve done nothing wrong by updating

SwanRivers · 04/11/2024 10:07

The C&P from Reddit needs removing until something official is posted.

If it's true, I'm obviously sorry for your tragic loss.

But it shouldn't be on here until we know it wasn't posted by a Reddit troll.

AshleighB9393 · 04/11/2024 10:08

The reddit troll you mentioned Is my friend and he was just trying to thank everyone for the help received the past few days.

mrshoho · 04/11/2024 10:09

I'm so very sorry to read this. My heart goes out to all her friends and family.

@AshleighB9393 has already identified herself as a personal friend of Sarah. Please be kind, or if you can't, don't say anything. (If you had read the thread, you'd have known this.)

WhereTheFuckIsMyFuckingCoat · 04/11/2024 10:10

@AshleighB9393 thinking of you, and your circle of friends Flowers
