Extremely worried for Sarah. Last sighting was the early hours of Saturday morning getting in to a black Vauxhall car in Camden. Please share.

Came on here to see if there was any more info on what’s happened. Really hope there is some innocent explanation and she’s back soon. It’s got to be slightly more hopeful when there were multiple people in the car. I know you get lone weirdos but the chances of two people being so sick are hopefully a lot lower🤞🏻
The fact she has no phone is also hopefully promising in a way as it would be more concerning if she had it and hadn’t phoned. Hope she manages to contact someone soon and let them know she’s okay. Will be keeping an eye for updates

I hope Sarah is found safe & well. I have a very close relative who went missing for 48 hours after a stress related one off psychotic attack. I've never experienced such a gut wrenching out of body experience. It was like being outside looking in at the situation. Thankfully the police were successful in their search. My thoughts are with all those close to Sarah. They will be sick with worry.

We too knew a young man who had gone missing, literally he'd given a ''countdown'' message to his parents prior about doing something awful.

Police and his family and friends were out searching- My brother was down for the weekend, and yes, even he joined the search.

Thankfully he was found alive having not done the thing he'd threatened, but it was horrendous- especially as vulnerable young people CAN do awful things when having mental health crises.

Similar happened with Sarsh Everard. I guess the police know when its appropriate which makes this all the more worrying

Yes, it's exactly what I thought when I opened the thread. Dreadful to think it could be happening again. I hope not 💕

It's quite early days isn't it? Less than 48 hours.

What are the specifics on this which are making the police so worried?

Genuine question. I don't mean to sound like a cow, just that being on the news ect already seems a lot.

The first 48 hours are most crucial in a missing persons investigation, so it’s good it’s being taken so seriously by everyone

There was a young man {Student} who went missing from Bristol back in February- He had missing person posters put up all around the City that we saw in August.
There is a £20,000 reward, he was spotted on CCTV and then just disappeared.
He is still missing.

Hopefully the car Sarah Cunningham got into has visible numberplates so that they can be traced via CCTV.

It's looking seriously worrying that Sarah hasn't been found - Reddit says she was {allegedly} spotted climbing into a vehicle with a man with ''curly hair''.
and a woman, and that she ''seemed upset''. {Reddit}.

oakleaffy · 04/11/2024 01:58

Reddit info from a Nottingham Friend of Sarah's:

Word reached her boyfriend that she was potentially spotted on Horely {sic} Road {could they mean Hawley?} around 2:50am entering a black Vauxhall after exchanging words with the person who contacted her boyfriend.

JessyCarr · 04/11/2024 02:13

Yes Hawley Rd would fit if that report is right. Some of the reports say she was thought to be headed for Islington, where I live. Whether or not that is reliable, I have shared the appeal on local SM as all Londoners should be keeping an eye out for Sarah. At that time of night a car would have reached most parts of Islington within about 15 mins from the Jamestown Rd/Hawley Rd area.

Oh god thats awful! Is there still no news on what happened to him at all? My partners from Bristol and moved up to the Midlands from there back in May, I’ll have to ask him about it

Happyinarcon · 04/11/2024 02:26

There’s a lot of confusing things about this. It sounds like she was fully clothed - all in black, so dressed to go somewhere, and voluntarily went outside and got into a car while leaving her phone and keys inside. This means there would have to be information on her phone or somewhere to arrange this. She would have been waiting, the driver would have sent her a text saying to come out or at least sent a text saying to be outside at a certain time. She wasn’t randomly outside at 2.30am to get into a random car.
This suggests that the answer is on her phone. Unless she had two phones and deliberately left one behind because she was purposely trying to escape her family or boyfriend? This is a possibility.
Also I’m surprised someone accurately identified her at that time of night wearing all black, unless she was seen on cctv coming out of the exact house. But a previous post says it was an eyewitness who contacted the boyfriend instead of the police.
Im just tossing ideas up, but maybe this was an escape plan rather than an abduction?

Lavenderfarmcottage · 04/11/2024 02:30

Foreigner here.. do women go missing often in London ? Under these circumstances ? She’s very conventionally attractive and pretty.

JessyCarr · 04/11/2024 02:34

@Klozza The young man missing in Bristol is Jack O’Sullivan.

@Lavenderfarmcottage A person is reported missing every 90 seconds in the UK. The vast majority are found safe soon afterwards. The circumstances in this case seem very unusual and no doubt that is why Sarah’s case is being taken very seriously. I’m not sure what her appearance has to do with it?

I mentioned her looks because of all the women to go missing in London, under unusual circumstances, it is a woman very pretty which makes it, in my casual observer view - more likely that she’s been targeted.

Sarah2891 · 04/11/2024 02:57

I wonder if she was struggling mentally? I hope she's found soon.

I agree it’s super confusing. I saw this on facebook yesterday so worrying to see she’s still not been found.

Im thinking the same. Answers on her phone or someone else’s. Assuming picking up some drugs if she didn’t have a coat.

Someone in that house knows. There’s no other reason you ring the boyfriend as opposed the police.

Just read about that Jack O'Sullivan case from Bristol. His poor family. Nothing worse than a missing person. The not knowing what happened is horrific. Hope they get answers soon.

The amount of people that go missing is awful. Hopefully Sarah can be found.

Onley · 04/11/2024 03:59

This is very scary. I literally lived on Jamestown Rd in Camden in my second year of university. Also 31 and 5 ft 3. God, I hope she is ok.

Vettrianofan · 04/11/2024 04:01

Hopefully positive news soon.

CalicoPusscat · 04/11/2024 04:03

It looks to me that she was probably doing a round trip somewhere

No, they do not

If someone is reported missing every 90 seconds and we can reasonably assume that not everyone who goes missing is reported then I think a young woman in London goes missing quite often.

marcopront · 04/11/2024 04:39

If there was no row before hand, why did she walk out of the house with no phone, keys or coat and why didn't anyone query it at the time?

Zanatdy · 04/11/2024 04:56

Sounds very worrying, I will share on social media.

The UK Missing Persons Unit states that approximately 327,000 people go missing in the whole of the UK each year. Most missing people return within two days and most missing people are men
