😂😂😂😂😂Do you remember how we used to put foundation on with our hands? There was none of this blending back then. If you didn’t have a track line around your face you wasn’t doing it right 😂
Oh and no outfit was complete without big hoop earrings xx

Brut 45 🤣 I forgot about that . Do you remember Sun in? It was bleach spray in a bottle and it absolutely stank but that was how we got highlights back in the day 🤣xx

You too @TealPoet . There’s a huge stag party in the rooms next to me , they are so loud 😂. I thought it’d be a load of young men. Had a peep through the spy hole in the door and they look like they are due to be drawing their pensions soon xx

I’ve done boring house jobs today and then a long walk over the fields with 2 dogs, DP and the 3 yo - trying to tire her out as she doesn’t seem to have been sleeping so well. We will see if it works! She walked about 3 miles over fields in wellies with no carrying so if this doesn’t work nothing will 🤣.

I remember sun in! I never wanted my hair lighter but lots of people used it. I also remember putting oil on to tan quicker 😳. I went to France for 2 weeks when I was 15 and my tummy was so tanned!

Hi @RaspberryBeretxx , yes the stag party have gone out now . I’ll wait for them to arrive back 😂I’m sure they’ll wake me up 😂. I’m feeling ok thank you just my throat and head hurt but I’ve been relaxing a lot today and had some soup and lots of cups of tea so throat feels a little better than before .
I’m so excited about seeing house too, I’m getting picked up at 2pm so I can’t wait. I’ll try and get a pic to show you all.
Wow that is a long walk, I bet it was lovely though to be out in the fresh air. If little one doesn’t sleep tonight I’m sure you will 😂 Awww that’s a lovely age, I miss those years.
Oh yes I remember the oil , the browner the better and now I can’t go in the sun and have a vitamin d deficiency , you couldn’t make it up 😂xx

Sorry for disappearing and thank you @Imbluedalale for thinking of me! I'm currently staying with relations for the weekend, which is nice, but various coughs, colds, and allergies prevent me trying more perfumes, so I'm afraid there will be a delay in my highly professional sounding (not!) perfume reviews! I wish I smelled like a chocolate orange - I could definitely live with that! I did buy a perfume once that smelled like Victoria sponge, which was awesome at first, then a little disconcerting - I think smelling like cake is great on occasion but not as a regular thing!

Well done @Ruralretreating on the counselling session - there is something very affirming when the counsellor / therapist is stunned by how much you have on your plate; its helps you realise yourself how much you are dealing with. Awesome too on your son's music event!! Go RuralretreatingSon!

@AdmittowearingCrocs OMG about the Poison perfume and the cats!! That's a classic!!

I think I missed out on all those fashion things like foundation and perfume etc as a teenager - I was utterly oblivious of fashion and wore tracksuits most of the time! Now I just slob about in PJs if I can, so clearly not much has changed!

I'm so happy @Imbluedalale you will see your house tomorrow! And I'm so much in awe of how strong and cheery and powerful you sound!!

I had some toffies yesterday , big mistake! Nearly pulled a few teeth out , got jaw ache from chewing them and felt like I was swallowing a brick!

Good morning Laura and the spoonies 😁 it's a wet and dark morning here but I love this time of the day before everyone else gets up. Just me and the cat! I'm taking it easy as I've 3 days in office next week so have to get my head round that as it exhausts me going to work 😂 the stag did party cause much commotion last night? My worst nightmare 😱 are you counting the minutes till you see house...I am!!

I've read through all your threads (I was up early this morning 😂). And all I can say is wow.

Your story is unbelievable. Look how far you've come. I bet you couldn't imagine yourself in a place where you're getting your own lovely home and your children are going to help choose their bedroom decor and be excited to be home with you.

So many people would have crumbled and given up but you didn't. You are truly amazing and an inspiration to many. This is why MN is fabulous sometimes, look at the community you've brought together.

I just wanted to wish you all the best moving on, have a fabulous day viewing the house and I can't wait to see where the rest of your journey takes you.

Well what can I say , it’s all been happening here at the travel lodge! The stag party came back about 12 last night , singing! There was about 12 of them outside my door singing you’ll never walk alone. They was quite good actually 😂
Then this morning there was a commotion outside so being the curtain twitcher I am I had a look and there was a couple arguing, she wouldn’t get in the car so he was revving it ! It’s like the Jeremy Kyle show!
Yes I am counting the minutes 😂, I can’t wait to tell you about it xx
