Thank you @Ruralretreating , it’s amazing news isn’t it ! I can move in from 18th November so two weeks yesterday . I can’t wait to show my children it and let them help me pick stuff to furnish it . I know what a huge difference from last Tuesday , this time last week I was in police station xx

Yes, you have so much to look forward to! And deservedly so. As someone said upthread it was about time the universe gave you a break! Can’t wait to hear what your children say. I hope it will help your mental health too, it’s not a fix I know but hopefully reduces anxiety and gives you a new focus. It really is tremendous news.

And just two weeks to wait, that’s not long at all. This week must have felt long, fighting the council, contacting people including the MP and council leader but you should be so proud advocating for yourself and getting what you needed. Hopefully the next two weeks will be more relaxing!

You should drop Dawn and the MP an email to update them too and thank them if they had any involvement in this progress. I know politicians get a bad press but some of them really do try to help their constituents

Thank you @Ruralretreating for the first time in a long long time I’m actually looking forward to the future . I know it will be hard and I will have to gradually get stuff to furnish it but I’m so looking forward to it and having my own furniture and home. This last week has been an absolute emotional rollercoaster but it’s finally looking good and bright xx
