Meadowhall has changed so much in the last few years! I met my friend there for tea last week and I couldn’t believe how different it is! Not my favourite place to frequent and it was heaving last week 😂 I used to work there when I left school.

yes I know where that is, what a lovely area that you are going to be in with lots of amenities on your doorstep too. I’ve not been to lakeside for a while. I used to love ice skating at Doncaster dome when I was younger! Xxx

Meodowhall has definitely changed. I think it’s gone downhill since Debenhams and House of Fraser has closed. I used to go to House of Fraser when I was skint and ask for foundation samples on each of the make up counters 😂 but I used to love both of them stores and could get loads of my Christmas shopping done there oh and once I went to the Build a bear shop there as you could ‘pay your age’ my son was 6/7 at the time so I thought bargain! It wasn’t a bargain, the clothes and the heart thing they put in cost me £90!xx

its funny you should say that as my son wanted to go into build a bear last week for the ‘pay your age’ bear, but I said no because of how expensive it ends up being 😂😂

Some of the clothes are dearer than actual kids clothes and then they want a heart to go in, a voice box and then accessories. I mean why does a bear need slippers? They’ve already got fluffy feet!

I’ve sent all the information they provided this afternoon and I called them to make sure they received it . I did ask again if it meant I was going to get the property as I’m a worrier and she said that I am the only person they are considering and they haven’t asked for any other applicants details so as long as all my documents are ok they would offer me it . So fingers crossed my documents are all ok 🤞I sent proof of identify for me and my children, proof of my old address and my bank statement to show proof of income .
How are you feeling now? Did you manage to get some more antibiotics?xx

I mean the design department really didn’t think this through when designing these, bears dont have toes so they don’t need open toe slippers!xx

I can understand why a bear might need wellies - but not slippers (or flipflops)! 😅

There’s even a rubber ring on there for them, I’ve never seen a bear in a pool or paddling pool. Wouldn’t it get wet? And you can even buy crutches for them, I don’t know about you but if I woke up in the middle of the night to see my child’s bear hobbling about on a pair of crutches I’d be pretty scared xx

@Munchyseeds2 thanks for asking. So, surgery didn’t sort it until local pharmacy was closed. Sent prescription to Tesco. Husband went to collect it and Tesco pharmacy is unexpectedly closed due to unforeseen circumstances. Just been on the phone to 111 and they’re trying to get a new one sent somewhere else. Thoroughly pissed off (excuse the pun 😂)

Oh my word @Imbluedalale , this is truly wonderful news! I am just catching up on my way home from work and this has made my day! Incredible! So excited for you! Amazing that you could be so close to getting a home for you, spoon and children.

I have only posted here about bear-related stuff, but I have followed both the threads and read all your posts OP. I am so delighted for you that you will get to have Christmas in your own home and am going to look for a spoon for my tree in your honour. ❤
